The room was spacious and clean with plenty of glasses and fresh water daily. Hot drinks are available. Good quality towels and bedding.

Queueing to check in at a podium in the foyer. We requested a check-in time of 2pm but were refused this. The system of telling every new guest to check in at 3pm and having only two staff available is ridiculous and poor customer service. Wequeued for 45 minutes to check in, along with appropriately 20 other people. Nowhere to sit, no drink available, just a blocked entrance to the premises. We were late for an appointment and started our break feeling frustrated. More seating in the bedroom would be welcome. One chair for up to four people is insufficient.

Comfortable rooms, great food, staff were warm and welcoming.

Only 1 minor detail. I finished breakfast at 11, checkout was 12 noon. I made my way up to the 6th floor to find my key card no longer allowed me room access. I went back to reception to be told that yes, the cards stopped working at 11am. The card was activated again but after making my way back up to the 6th floor again, it still didn't work and I had to return a second time. I overheard at least 2 other guests chatting at reception who had experienced the same thing. This is only minor as the rest of my stay was fantastic but it seems like a small thing that requires some attention.

Really liked the atmosphere of this place. Location is great, just in the heart of the city. So interesting neighborhoods, like Chinatown, Manchester Art Gallery and other cultural places and restaurants. So much to explore nearby. And safety as I felt it. Easy access to the airport. Room was excellent, had that signature deluxe room with a view to the street. Bed was comfy and liked the bedding. There was plenty of space which allowed to relax and also to work when needed. Liked that kind of industrial and loft look with 4 meters high rooms. Also, wi-fi was well functioning. Television was big enough and had good sound system. Also liked to listen to the music by using Bluetooth speaker. And then tea and coffee available in the room as well as water. In the bathroom there was space enough too and really liked that rainfall shower and skin care products that smelt so good. The air was fresh and the whole room and also common spaces were so clean. Had also breakfast and dinner which were so tasteful and easy to get. In the lobby there is also a common creative space which I used. Was nice to go there and do some writing when people went by and hear people chatting. Also, nice view to the street. Staff was helpful and kind and available all the time (24/7). All the facilities were well planned and well-functioning. So perfectly value for money.

I liked everything so nothing to put into this part.

THE ROOM Photos of the the room were a bit different to the reality. The ground floor of the hotel was incredible but sadly did not match the same level of standards/aesthetics as the actual room i stayed in, maybe my room was a standard room and the photos showed a different room ? Bathroom had dirty grout in the tiles and ingrown dirt - it looked quite old. The shower head was also old looking and very 'standard' i expected a bit more 'luxury' considering the overall aesthetic of the hotel. There were lots of stains on the carpet and a lot of dust around the bed too! BREAKFAST Breakfast was amazing but was trying to get hold of the waitress for condiments which i couldn't so gave up in the end. I noticed other tables got offered when there food arrived. The man checking me in was amazing and so friendly <3

Everything was so simple and easy to work out the room was lovely and spacious and clean - air con was a major plus too! Rooms are decorated and a good standard with a clean and simple look. As a young woman staying in my own I did head down to the restaurant in the hotel and was treated with nothing but kindness which is so lovely - I wished I’d have caught my waitress’ name because she was so sweet! Food was excellent and a very very high standard! Overall all the staff are lively and lovely when I book my next trip to Manchester I know where I will be staying! The Alan

Very central location. Stylish reception/bar/restaurant. Great quality ingredients at breakfast. Comfy bed and a larger than expected room. Staff were very friendly and professional. It was great value the night I stayed and I would very happily return. A few little tweaks and it could be a really great place.

So, it was pretty good but there were just a few things that could be tweaked to make it great. Room was a little dated and scuffed in some of its furnishings and fixtures, although it had been tied together quite stylishly. The lighting was very poor in the room and, as my room was overlooked by offices, I had to keep the curtains closed for any privacy so the lighting was a bit of an issue. The air con was really quite noisy and not terribly efficient. Check in wasn't quite as efficient as I would have liked - not having a full front desk might look cool, but it meant a lot of back and forth for the (very nice) staff as they recover key cards and other things from the cupboard, slowing things down. The lifts were a bit creaky and could do with having the reception being labelled.

We booked the master and the bed was massive and super comfortable, loved having plugs on both sides of the bed and the bedside lamps had an adjustable cover which was very useful! The shower was easy to figure out and had good pressure and temperature control. The staff were amazingly helpful and lovely throughout our stay.

The shower drain did not drain very well on our first day but seemed to resolve the next, I assume just a blockage from the previous guest and the staff. The décor wasn’t quite industrial and looked a bit lazy but honestly that might just be a personal preference!

The size of the room was great. (I did pay for the larger room) looked exactly like the photos. One thing that I did notice was the smell on arrival, not sure what candles they used but smelt amazing. Staff were friendly however as always being younger I do feel they make slight judgement beforehand.

The shower didn’t seem to drain very quick therefore it seemed to over flow the tray. Seen as it was a flat base it escaped fairly quickly onto the rest of the bathroom floor. The discretionary charge that was automatically applied for 2 drinks, I understand I choose if I would like to pay, however I don’t believe ordering 2 drinks requires a 10% charge on top.

we love the industrial style mixed with luxury. the huge bed and very comfortable mattress was fantastic. good plug outlets by the bedsides for charging phones etc. lovely smelling toiletries in the bathroom. also the whole place smelt gorgeous! even the basement toilets smelt divine.

lack of places to put things in the room and bathroom. no where to hang your towel to dry unless it was right on the toilet. no where other than the floor to put clothes you were changing into after shower. minimal surfaces to put your own toiletries. no luggage stand so it was just on the floor. couldn’t work the radio/speaker. no info about what was available at the hotel. I like to read physical copies of menus and timings of things that are available as it’s not even clear online and menus are different too.

It was very cosy, friendly and really loved the breakfast area (and the breakfast) It had a lovely vibe and it’s somewhere I’d come again! Thanks also for getting us a room next to our daughter’s- that was really good!

Only a little thing- when we checked in and we’re told the room was ready , it wasn’t- it was messy- which when we said, you very kindly gave us a drink while the housekeeper sorted the room out. It was all sorted though there were a few tissues on the floor by the bed when we went up and something sticky had been poured into the bin, so we just moved the bin away from the bedroom. Also just to mention one of the plugs was quite loose!
