Motel One Manchester-St. Peter´s Square

This place is a little gem and located in central Manchester just off St Peters square. Its only a few minutes walk to Piccadilly gardens and the shopping areas. The hotel including my room was kept very clean and provided all the services I required for a lovely stay, I will probably stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was abit expensive at £10. 50 per day for a continental breakfast, so i decided to eat out instead.

Great central location. Modern yet cosy interiors. The room was great too, bed really comfortable and plenty of space.

Only thing to flag was I put in an accessible room when no need for one. No real issue, but meant I didn’t actually have as much space as I would’ve liked around the sink area (there were two - one was lowered specially for someone in a wheelchair and had the extra space, the other was higher but no space around it whatsoever). Also, if I’m being picky, breakfast could have had a little more hot selection as there were only boiled eggs available. But what was there was very tasty and good quality!

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, check in was quick and simple, they even managed to get us checked in before 3om as they had a room free. Hotel was clean and cosy in a fantastic location.

Everything about this property was perfect. Right from the beautiful waiting area/bar downstairs and finally to the cozy, comfy rooms. The fast WiFi, very nice and effective air condition etc. My flight back to Germany was delayed and the reception allowed me to check out late for free. The are just awesome!

I just wish they could make it possible for guests to connect to YouTube, Netflix etc so we can cast/stream and watch our favourite shows/movies online. But I mean, even without that, I’ll still give 98% rating .

Great room, comfy bed, room had A/C, everything was quite updated and room was very clean. Had window towards inside of the building so very quiet, could be different on the other side. Great location, short walk from different stations but also had many restaurants and shops close by. Check-in and check out were both quick. I've stayed on the other Motel one hotel as well which was a great. Highly recommend either one!

The bigger pillows should have two covers or different covers. The current ones were open on the long side and didn't cover the whole pillow. So I used two on just one of the pillows

The bed was genuinely the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in! We were also very impressed with the soundproofing from the windows, despite being in the middle of the city and near a tram stop, when the window was shut the noise was nonexistent. We were well impressed with the location of the hotel and felt that the room was just the right size for what we needed. Staff were friendly and approachable, we would definitely return here!

Could have done with a bin in the room as well as the bathroom, and we don't think our extractor fan worked in the shower. None of this took away from our lovely stay however, we hope to be back in future!

Excellent location for transport and center of the city. Nice neighborhood. You could set up you own temperature in the room. Shower was also fine, water adjustable. Comfortable bed and enough pillows of different softness. Room is not so big but is comfortable. There is a kettle in the room and the coffee, tea and milk which are constantly replenished when the room is being cleaned. We were on the 6th floor which is good because you are fare from street noise.

There is just one 'european' socket in the room, so it would be fine that hotel has some adapters for rent. And maybe the shower floor should be a little less slippery.

The hotel was modern, clean, and had a very central location. The internet was strong and fast in our room - we were able to do a few Zoom meetings without any issues. The bed was nice and firm. The receptionists were always very friendly.

The fire alarm forced us and all other guests out of bed and onto the street for 20-30 minutes at 5 a.m. one day! Later that day we spoke to someone that seemed like a manager and inquired about what had happened, and his attitude was more nonchalant than apologetic when telling us that someone had either smoked or vaped in the hotel and set off the alarm. A small compensation - like a breakfast voucher or drink ticket for the lobby bar - would have been a nice gesture....

Superb. Being Severely Sight Impaired makes travelling alone a bit stressful, but the staff couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming and helpful. Location was spot on. Very central. Room was clean and the bed was super comfortable so I slept really well. It was quiet too which was brilliant. Love the walk in shower. Perfect for my needs. The bar staff were really friendly and even gave me some tips on where to go for good food and drinks. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Manchester City centre. Will def be staying here again 👌🙏😎

Would have preffered to get a hot breakfast but certainly not a deal breaker for me.

The room was very well designed with plenty of charging points, hairdryer, reasonable amount of hanging space, decent lighting for reading in bed, tea and coffee making (paper cups though!), air con, well appointed shower room with fluffy towels, liquid hand soap and body wash supplied.

There are three Motel One hotels in Manchester. I didn't notice that I had booked the wrong hotel and only found out at check in. The only was to change the booking was to go into my Booking.com account, cancel the wrong one and book the right one in St Peter's square. Although the aircon in the room was working well, I found the bed a bit soft and I was too hot at times.
