The youtube on the smart TV USB charging ports Comfortable large bed & sofa bed Size of room and storage options Bath

Would have preferred the bathroom and shower to be 1 room and not 2 sperate rooms, but it was still ok. Staff put us in the wrong room because of a mix up with the name, which seemed unprofessional, but great we did not get kicked out of our room as we had settled in and travelled a long distance with kids. The sofa bed was not made, when requested this and came back to the room my key was not working, the reception should have noticed us going back to our room and ensured he updated our key, he let us go to our and then come back to reception and wait in Q for him to fix it. Not a big deal but worth sharing, check that they know your name even through you tell then and spell it and they still mixed the booking.

On arrival I loved the open reception area, the funky seating, and lighting. It was really warm and welcoming. All the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. My room was cosy, a little small, but met my needs for the amount of time I was there. In the evening the bar was a lovely space to just relax and hangout.

It was very difficult to park. There were no sockets next to the bed for devices. The big no no for me was the stale croissants and crunchy nut cornflakes served for breakfast. I would have expected better from the Novotel. I did point it out to the host, who apologised and replaced them, but it should never have happened in the first place.

We were impressed with the hotel from our arrival right through to leaving a couple of days later. All the staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. Joanne in the bar went out of her way to look after us and her local knowledge was very useful. The room was clean, quiet, well appointed with everything you could need. The food in the restaurant was excellent, much better that other similar types of hotel we have stayed in and the food and drink prices were not inflated as they often are. The garden and outdoor seating area was a bonus for a hotel surrounded by motorways and major roads although a little noisy as you would expect it did feel very secluded.

Excellent breakfast choice. Good evening meals, especially as we were able to eat after a late evening arrival. We stayed here because you are so close to RHS Bridgewater gardens. You should stress and include this in your website details. We did see several other guests who also stayed at the hotel as we walked around the gardens. Good that you have a receptionist at the entrance all the time - reassuring for late arrivals and when you cannot guarantee an arrival time.

Bed mattress was a bit hard. I always bring my own pillow and I did need it, but I am fussy. Would be good to have a top sheet available for hot nights as the duvet was rather hot, especially with the need to keep windows shut because of traffic noise.

The staff were great, welcoming and helpful. The facilities were good, room spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed dining at the restaurant, menu had a good variety of choices and the staff there were great. Breakfast was also good, though a more varied menu on cooked food would be welcome.

Room was quiet for most part, however you could hear other guests in neighbouring room, so perhaps the sound proofing between rooms could’ve been a little better, however it was not too intrusive. I must also mention that there was no noise issues during the night, just in the evening (not loud but present and I guess it will also depend on who your neighbours are?)

Pleasant, clean, comfortable chain hotel. Just off the motorway so easy to reach but, impressively, no traffic noise. Handy to have the pub/restaurant right next door, but you can have a pleasant stroll into Worsley Village if you fancy a (very slightly!) wider choice or a look at the old canal route. I'd be happy to stay again on another commuting trip.

The first thing you see when you walk in is a bunch of pretty insistent (can I say aggressive?) signs about how you have to deal with carparking or face a hefty fine. It's very unwelcoming; borderline threatening. I feel like they probably farmed out the parking arrangements to a third party and are making a huge point that anything that happens to you, their dear guest, is therefore your own fault. Not very classy.

* Location: excellent stop en-route from Surrey to Scotland, and also close to the new RHS Bridgewater Gardens. * Room: good space and facilities, comfortable bed. * Restaurant: great choice for evening meal and wide range for self-service breakfast. * Staff: friendly and welcoming.

* Check-in: it is really unfortunate that the hotel has outsourced the policing of its carpark. One's first impression is therefore of aggressive notices advising on the perils of not registering one's car (at a machine next to the check-in desk) and the huge fines that 'they' (presumably the out-sourced contractor) might then level on one for non-compliance. The hotel really needs to find a more customer-friendly way of managing this requirement's impact on one's initial impression! * The bed in the room was in a fixed position that seemed un-necessarily close to a wall, which made access to that side quite tight; not sure why?

The evening meal was nice room was clean and fresh and a window that you could open to have some fresh air. The reception also provided me with some toothpaste as I left mine at home

Breakfast was not the best for the price. Stuff standing around doing nothing when you do ask a simple question if there are any cups they look at you like you are putting them out. I also feel cereal should not be left out for everyone to breathe over it should either be in jars or sealed containers. Not a lot of options for Vegtarens only one choice of yoghurt and could not see any porridge this area need quite a lot of improvement.

What a find! We have stayed at many Novotels over the years and this is the best by far. We were expecting it to be noisy as it is handily located close to the motorways and a very busy dual carriageway way. However, the sound proofing in the rooms is excellent. Rarely heard a sound, even from other guests. The only negative for us is that the twin beds are on the small size and quite firm. However we did get two good nights sleep. The public spaces are calming with plenty of seating. There was even a multi-gym and a garden that included a play area. The food was very good value and delicious. We had a pizza and cheesecake, both yummy and the breakfast for £10 was extensive, beautifully presented and very tasty.

Twin beds rather small

Room was big, the beds comfortable and everything was clean. If you go by car the parking is included. The property is surrounded by nature and in a short walk we had a couple of restaurants. The brunch in The Delph was very good. The water dispenser in the corridor was very convenient for us. The playground outside was fun for the kids. The staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed dinner one night there and was very good.

The only thing was that being a family of 4 we needed to ask for extra toilet paper in the reception, first time I had to do that in a hotel.
