Everything was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the location was amazing! A special mention for James at reception who kindly located my phone charger! And the breakfast was SO good!
Our room on the first night was unfortunately near some fans and there was a constant humming all night. However once I mentioned it to reception the next morning we were moved to a much quieter room overlooking the gardens.

where it was . the room .
rushed at breakfast . staff brought cooked I hadn’t finished cereal then was told they would put it in hot plate - don’t want a rubber breakfast at a 5 star hotel . also paying 140 pounds in case I do damage . ( for 2 rooms ) . I understand people do damage but we were 2 couples in our late 50s it was for my bf 20 wedding blessing weekend . also it does not say there will be this taken when booked . room lovely setting peaceful .

The Hotel is in a great location close to Newcastle City centre and right next to Jesmond Dene Valley and Nature Walks. The Hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. The restaurant, bar and patio/garden dining facilities were superb.
Our top floor Apartment Room was a bit warm and it only had small skylight Windows, which we couldn't really open to cool things down, due to the heavy rain. Two pedestal fans had been provided but an Air Con unit would have been much better. The number and location of wall electrical sockets also wasn't great. However, these are minor points given the size of the room and the facilities provided

Jesmond Dene House is a gorgeous boutique hotel that go the extra mile which sets them apart from the crowd. A couple of days before check in, I received a call to confirm a few things, they asked if we were staying for a special occasion (it was, for our anniversary) and they said they would put some macaroons and chocolates in the room for us, this was a lovely touch! Great selection of complimentary teas, coffees and snacks in the room, as I said it just makes the stay extra special and other hotels cannot compare!! Picturesque and opulent, staying at the Jesmond Dene is a lovely treat!
Very difficult to find faults! Overall 9/10 excellent stay

Room was amazing. As there was a wedding that day I thought maybe it might beca little noisey, but didn't here anything from room 10 even the cars outside in tne carpark and windows were single pane metal frame. TV needed to be turned off on the wall to reset itself as wouldn't allow any channels to be viewed, reception were aware of this as they informed me what to do. Bed is queen size and very comfortable. Room has a stocked mini bar which is taken onto card when you check in, to ensure if you use and forget to mention.
TV needed turning off at socket to reset itself twice and toilet is extremely low to the floor.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel has lovely grounds, lots of parking, and was perfect venue for wedding. Room was comfortable, there was a good choice of breakfast menu - would recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg.
Room very hot in summer, with window open could hear 'generator unit' type noise. Kettle lead couldn't be plugged in to the bespoke socket where it stood so had to move it around room to another plug socket, we did mention to reception on check out. Neither of these were major issues but considering we paid premium price for the room they were inconveniences.

Jesmond Dene House is in a great spot with a metro station 5-10 minutes away. The room was really nice with a great sized bath and bed. the garden surrounding the hotel was very nice although the weather wasn't great when we went so we didn't spend much time in it. we were treated really nicely by the staff and the complimentary items in the room were very good. (it was helpful to have the list of what was complimentary and what wasn't)
If you weren't eating in the restraunt there were not really any facilities to use outside of your room. No Pool or lounge areas. The pricing of the Breakfast is quite steep considering the money already paid to be a guest.

We had a deluxe room which was beautiful with a lovely view of the trees by the river and the garden. The bar, restaurant, staff and food for breakfast and in the evening was also very good. Cleaning staff were very helpful when we did not want our room serviced but we needed more milk and other supplies. The reception desk staff were very helpful, I had not brought the correct charging cable for my phone and they lent me a cable for the duration of our stay. For our first full day's stay we walked up and down the river in the adjacent park, a beautful location.
Nothing!
