Where do I start … Car parking space available for when I arrived … the check in was quick simple & the receptionist was extremely helpful showing us our room & information we needed. Our room ( no 1 ) was perfect. The staff in the bar were all lovely & so friendly. No queuing to order drink & so kind to our dog. Plenty of sport on the TVs. We were allowed to leave our car on day of check out while we went out for the day. Final word has to go to the chef. OMG we have NEVER tasted burgers 🍔 like it!!! We was able to thank him personally as we were leaving & asked if we could bring him home with us! Birmingham needs him!!! Kenilworth we will 100% be back.

Absolutely nothing!

Beds were extremely comfortable and Location was great for what we needed. Staff were very very friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay again.

The only thing we had a slight issue with was the water was turned off in the morning so we couldn't have a shower or use the toilet before we left. This is however minor for our party. We did have a do not disturb sign on the door but something like this to me is an important thing to tell residents but it didn't change the fact that we enjoyed our stay and would happy come back again.

Second stay here nice to revisit. Room was large with double and single beds. Double bed very comfortable Shower was nice with toiletries and plenty of towels Daily room service Safe secure car parking Coffee and tea making facilities with biscuits. Right in heart of university quarters.

Bedroom carpet was stained and place was looking slightly tired. TV on wall at other end of room was far too small to see properly.. shower room was very cold no rail. Smokers from bar constantly under my room window

Rooms were very clean, and spacious. Booked a double room but got upgraded to a family sized room

At check in, there were no staff to be seen, had to wait a while even though we had pressed the bell for attention as requested. No lifts and bedroom was on top floor. Due to layout of room, couldn't open bathroom door fully which made it harder to enter and exit.

Room was spacious, clean and close enough to the city centre for us (8 mins drive). Staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond; I was staying in Newcastle for the Great North Run and the staff provided me with a complimentary breakfast! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel away from the Main Street. Room was large with comfortable beds.There is access to the rooms through the bar or there is a private entrance around the back. Free parking is available. We walked into the city centre but there is bus and metro options available very close by. We stay in Newcastle often and will happily return to this hotel.

Everything was great.

Location close to local bars, restaurants and shops. Large, bright, comfortable room, very clean and welcoming. Local owner with fabulous customer service. Dog friendly. Although above a bar, popular with local students in the area, noise not an issue and 11pm closing time strictly adhered to. I rate this small, local business so much that I've booked to stay again in May for a longer period!

No cooked breakfast option available. As a solo traveller with a dog, I would prefer not to have to leave hotel to find suitable facilities nearby for breakfast

We arrived late due to travelling and the staff were extremely accommodating to this! Once we had arrived, we were greeted with a friendly member of staff who helped us with checking in, also gave advice on travel and places to eat etc. really accommodating and friendly! 😊

Nothing - it was a great stay at an amazing price!

It was very clean and great value for money. rooms were big and had tea/coffee making facilities. Location was great with loads of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Would recommend Sohe for food

The walls are quite thin so you could hear noise out in the corridor throughout the night

Lovely room, very clean and kept cool (it was during the very hot weather). Good size. Excellent value. Highly recommend this hotel. Very central to Newcastle centre, trendy area with shops & indoor/outdoor cafes. Very friendly and obliging staff.

Parking a little tight (but there was a big van parked there during my stay). Even so, parking spaces were still available.
