A great location very near the centre of Newcastle, with good transport links. You get 25% off your drink and food in they're lounge every day except a Saturday, when it is 10%. Great value!

Nothing not to like.

Good value hotel in Jesmond with private parking and attached pub with resident discount.

Having to pay a 50 pound deposit is not good, never used to do this when we've stayed before...

Loads of spaces to park your car and a 5 minute walk to the metro but also you have the option to walk into Newcastle as its about a 25 minute walk. Room was big and comfy and warm maybe a little too warm however I would rather be too warm than too cold. Price was decent compared to other hotels out there and for one night it definitely did the job. Wouldn't say it was a perfect hotel but I would come back again.

Rooms were slightly noisy. If someone opened their door it sounded like they were opening yours so I did wake up a few times thinking someone was coming into our room but I got used to it. Hotel in itself is a little outdated but the bed was comfy and the room itself was big and spacious. Shower didn't really work properly. Very little water came out and was cold so we gave up in the end but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a problem or issue to us we just had a shower once back home.

Very convenient location. Only 15 minutes from the airport and 10-15 minutes to town. The staff were exceptional and really did everything they could to help me out. I was there early, and they were fantastic. Wifi works well.

It was all pretty great. Sometimes there's some noise after the 11pm noise curfew. Hot chocolate at the front would be great. Maybe chocolate powder sachets and then people can use the hot water from the machine. I think the price was okay. The bar is okay, but the food was minimal and only in small sizes.

Very easy check in, very freindly staff. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfy. The free wifi was very good.The room was very quiet, despite being over a pub! Plenty of tea,coffee,sugar etc form my 5 night stay. Plenty of very hot water both in the sink and shower. Nothing not to like about the place and would definitely book again if working in the area.

Had an absolutely fantastic 2 nights stay at Whites Hotel! Amica and the team were extremely friendly, kind and welcoming and made for a lovely weekend visiting the city. Hotel is in an ideal location, room was clean and warm and the service throughout our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Staff were kind and attentive, and the bar had a great atmosphere and plenty of liveliness and vibrance. Perfect for what we were wanting! Price is more than reasonable, and I will certainly be coming back to stay again very very soon!

The location was great! Short walk from the Jesmond metro station perfect for a weekend away! Very clean facilities and helpful staff.

Breakfast was handy to take away although I was expecting a little more as it was advertised as breakfast included. This would generally suggest a cooked breakfast/ continental unless specified however it was enough for me and my boyfriend and we were offered another to take with us on our travels upon checkout which was a lovely gesture.

Whites Hotel in Jesmond has become my "go to" hotel on my several visits to Newcastle upon Tyne each year. The hotel is lovely, very clean and fresh rooms with everything you need. A special mention must be given to receptionist Angela, a lovely, friendly and extremely helpful lady. If you need anything sorted or advice she will deal with it quickly and professionally. Jesmond is close to Newcastle city centre and buses run outside the hotel frequently and a Metro is within walking distance. The area has everything you would expect, nice bars and restaurants, Tesco, Waitrose, Boots and so on. Young, well behaved students mingle with the older residents of Jesmond. It is a lovely place to stay. Prices at White's Hotel are fantastic and affordable.

There was nothing I did not like or caused me concern

The hotel staff were friendly throughout our stay. Multiple staff members checked in with us & gave us personalised recommendations. The accommodation was affordable and comfortable, we appreciated the continental breakfast. We loved the range of drinks in the bar, and especially the 25% discount for being a hotel guest!

The room could have been cleaner & breakfast finishing at 10am seemed a little early. We came back quite late one evening and needed to wait some time for the night Porter to let us in.

Room was a fantastic size and bed was comfortable and staff were friendly price was great oh and I was given a takeaway breakfast bag when I checked out and bottled water which was a nice surprise as I wasn’t expecting breakfast with how reasonable the price was.

The stairways need alot of work very dated and worn room wasn’t as clean as it should have been and had no heat control in the room.
