Location, digital hotel where the guest receive a digital code prior to staying for both the entrance to the building and individual rooms. Very efficient. Clean with great facilities: iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle set, free parking close by between 18:00-08:00. Amazing Turkish restaurant below the hotel … didn’t eat in but the take away was lovely each night and very good price.

All amazing apart from one thing…. with this being a trip for working it could of been helpful to have another set of towels as there were 1 set of towels for a 3 nights 4 days stay (1 x hand towel and 1 bath towel).

We had a small issue just after arriving, Zain the host was very quick to help us, he was charming and got us sorted straight away. The room was a lovely modern room, a good size with some great features such as a massive TV, really comfortable bed, and exceeded my expectations for the price. Everything was to hand with the normal tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and complementary toiletries. The window was large letting in lots of natural light and the heating worked quickly making it really cosy in the evening. The location was perfect. We booked as we were attending an event at King gerorges Hall which was just across the road. Lots of other facilities close by including the leisure centre, cinema shopping centre and pubs all a very short walk. There is an amazing Turkish restaurant next door. Please eat here, the food was amazing and we talked about returning just for that! The check in and out was seemless as everything was done with electronic keypads, very impressed with our stay. The door buzzer rang 3 different times after midnight, The shower door (1000 slider was difficult to.get in as the access on that size is.minimal. They should have fitted a bi-fold.door.. Also the people that kept pressing the..door buzzer played foreign music until 5am. The room, the location and facilities were great even had a free.pass to a gym and swimming pool. (External building) I didn't get a.good.nights.sleep.due to.the.buzzer and the.music blaring until 5am. I would give the accommodation a other go. 👍

Room was a good size, with shower facilities, tea & coffee facilities, TV with netflix etc available and desk facilities. Location was good as you were a 10min walk from shopping centres, train stations and some restaurants. 15/20 min walk from ice arena, swimming pool / cinema across the way.

once the hotel got busy the internet dipped a lot so had to use my phone hotspot to get work done. No breakfast / restaurant available at the hotel - however, there is restaurant next door for evenings

The quality of the Hotel Rafay was so much nicer than expected, everywhere was so clean and well maintained. The room was lovely with really nice furnishings and lovely en suite. It is in an excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk to the shopping centre and Blackburn college. Zain and his team were so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. We liked it so much we decided to book an extra night.

Nothing, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The hotel and the room was clean, quiet, staff helpful. We had a perfect stay.

At first, at the entrance door how to key in the code and what to press... was confusing, another guest helped getting in and then we figured out that after the code we have to key in # so the door opens... :) it was ok after, but maybe this instruction could be a bit clearer in the email where the code is sent.

Very clean room

Nobody around when I wanted to check out, also charged £100 deposit in case of damage, so had to wait around and come back later to make sure I would get my deposit back. Have been in hotels in America and Europe and uk and Ireland and never been asked for a deposit before and particularly for a very basic hotel

This is a great little hotel in centre of Blackburn. Beds are clean and comfy. The young lady who on reception couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are fitted out to a high standard and it's in a ideal location.

Not a lot really. Would have liked some milk with tea and coffee but that's all.

Lovely fresh feel to the accomodation. Modern Central location . Good value for the money if you book in advance.

The mattress was very uncomfortable far too firm for me. Couldn't figure out how to operate the TV. The smart lock to the room is a good idea. Apart from that a really nice hotel.

Great location, room was fab. Friendly staff; Zain was very helpful.

Not really a criticism, just would have preferred to know beforehand, but the pool etc aren’t attached to the hotel- they are literally just s 2 minutes walk away. Hotel arranged for free passes for us ( 6 in our group).
