Lovely hotel and staff, and a tasty breakfast. Very clean and spacious. Clientele when we were there were majority older generations but it was not an issue. Lovely comfortable beds with iron, hairdryer and hot drink facilities. We used the hotel as a base and the location is very central and easy to travel to different places in Scarborough. Nothing is too much from staff, all were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

No major issues. Breakfast was lovely and mealtimes were organised.

The cooked breakfast was made up of cheap tastelss/odd tasting items. I'd rather pay a few quid more for good quality locally sourced produce. Oh and some decent coffee. Saturday nights entertainment was very dated. I'm not a fan of bingo but the bingo was the highlight of the entertainment.

Great location and free parking. Good sized room with a proper sized TV. Great sized shower room and a decent sized shower 🚿 with Great pressure plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast with a good choice of options. Very helpful staff both reception and dining room.

Bit noisy while the evening entertainment was taking place especially as our room was right about the bar / entertainment room.

Nice location.. nice warm welcome on arrival very clean and Welcoming reception . Clear directions to our room and explained about the breakfast in the morning by the receptionist . Room was perfect. Very comfy with an okay view. Breakfast was very nice, and I would like to give all credit to our server ROBERT who was very attentive during a very busy breakfast morning… very polite, chatty a genuine nice person.

Only one criticism..window for breakfast between 8 and 9 o’clock was a bit tight.

The room was lovely and clean with a nice view. The room facilities were a nice touch. The staff in the bar and the entertainment were amazing. (Kim and Kerry i believe) The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The entertainment was fabulous (Joelle) with a wide range of songs to sing and dance to! Loved it!

The only negative was the communal stairs and landings had a funny smell (like a nursing home). The guests did seem to be of an older generation but we loved this, and made some friends during the evening.

Lower room felt like walking through corridors of an institution to get there - but nice room when you did, surrounded by trees (no sea view - perhaps the higher rooms?). Coach parties arriving probably the source of loud banging after 10pm. Nice breakfast. Parking disc provided and parking quite easy nearby

Breakfast, evening dinner was very good, service was excellent. Entertainment was very good and bar staff were great. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower and toilet facilities super. Location great. Will definitely be back.

Not a big issue, but lovely girl on the reception could do with some help. She worked very hard but had a lot to do on her own.

Great location, reasonable price, friendly staff. My partner worked in hospitality sector for years and said woman on front desk (31st Jan 2023 evening) was most welcoming she’s encountered. Room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Breakfast well organised. Will be back

Not so much a negative but due to the age of the building it has very creeky floor boards so you can hear everyone's movements around you
