I would happily return to this hotel if I was in the area again. The room was a comfortable size. Tea & coffee tray was well equipped with plenty of drinks and a pack of biscuits. I had my 2 large dogs with me and there was plenty of room for their crates to fit in the room. I expected it to be noisy with it being on the main road but it was actually very quiet which was a huge bonus as I hate noise!

There's nothing to complain about really. The bed was comfortable, just slightly too firm for me but not dreadful by any means. There wasn't really anywhere that you could walk the dog except the car park but it wouldn't stop me from returning for an overnight stay. I couldn't really fault the place.

Clean, comfortable room. Very tasty breakfast - cooked to order. Friendly staff, even taking an interest in chatting to my daughter about her having climbed Ben Nevis the day before.

The shower needed maintenance - was leaking at the shower head. The coffee on offer at breakfast was just a generic freeze dried packet. Offering a fresh coffee from the machine (which they did have on the bar) would have made a real difference to my breakfast experience (I had to go back to my room and make a coffee with some that I brought with me).

The staff were just amazing. Room fine. Breakfast nice. Easy to get to (and a fab garden centre just around the corner) Restaurant closed in the evening, which isn't ideal, BUT staff let us know well in advance and have us loads of other options

There's not really a patio/ garden/ terrace to sit outside and have a drink or anywhere to mooch around with the dog. Basically we sat on the car park with our beer and the carpark itself is looking a bit worse for wear.

Hotel was superb. Booked as we were visiting the emmerdale village tour which is a 30 min drive from the hotel. On arrival we were warmly greeted by staff who went out their way to help, even changing our room so my mam didn’t have to struggle with the stairs. The staff were very happy to help with any questions we had. The hotel is fab and modern inside in my option better then a premier in or travelodge. Would definitely stay again.

Easy to find, clean, superb staff member the evening we stayed manning both reception and the bar, he could not have been mote helpful, accommodating or friendly. The room was great, beds SUPERB , and thankfully fully functioning air con in the room. Was a shame the restaurant was closed but we ordered from Just Eat and the fab chap in reception set up a table for us.

Nothing really, the restaurant would have been a bonus but no real complaints.

When we arrived, I was asked if I had received the email explaining there were no evening meals on. Which I hadn’t! It’s situated in a place where ur not of walking distance to anywhere, but they did tell us we were welcome to order takeaways to the hotel and told us of a couple of places we could drive to. We opted for a takeaway, which was actually really nice

Breakfast satisfactory for amount paid Location was good for our needs Refurbishment ongoing when we stayed so restaurant was closed that evening, we were only aware of this after we had booked the hotel.

Perhaps some sandwiches and varieties of small cakes could have been offered at the hotel, so that tired guests did not have to travel further for something to eat.

Margaret was absolutely lovely really looked after my daughter made her feel safe and welcome on arrival. Facilities and rooms were clean , comfortable and had added air con/heating system .

Only down fall was it's on a main busy road which is pitch black during the night but aslong as you drove or didn't need to get back in dark It's not a problem

Ideally located for a social function I was attending in a local village. My room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and available for me to check in an hour early. All the staff were fantastic - really welcoming and coped well with a demanding breakfast service despite having issues with the kitchen.

Nothing- it was perfectly adequate for what I needed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful especially when I needed to book a taxi

It was nice and quiet and bed was comfortable the fire doors in the corridor were very noisy and woke us up every time someone went through. Maybe some sort of soft close mechanism could be used which would have made our stay so much better
