The common area looks quite nice. The decorations are modern and atmospheric. There are even a few board games to play. The hotel is a short walk (10-15min.) from the city centre and easy to reach. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and spacious enough for two people for a couple of nights.

The advertisement said there is (paid) parking, which is why we chose this hotel. However, there is NO parking at the hotel itself, and no designated pick up/drop off area either. Cars can be parked at the Moor car park (for a reduced fee), which is 5-10 minutes' walk from the hotel. Not very convenient if you've got a lot of luggage, so keep that in mind.

Very clean, well presented room. Very value for money as the price I paid for a double room included continental breakfast for 2. Fresh towels which I wasn't expecting (I forgot to bring one). Great for the one night me and my son where in the city for an event at the arena

Parking was a bit of an issue. The multi storey car park which I was directed to was open. However, I was told once I had parked up I couldn't leave until the day after. As I needed my car to get to the arena later that night this wasn't ideal. Decided to leave the multi storey a few minutes after arriving and they tried to charge me £2.70 for the few minutes I had been in there. Eventually got the fee written off and used the on street parking at the back of the hotel. Although I did find this expensive, it was free from.8.30pm until 8am then it cost me £9 for 3 hours so I didn't have to rush checking out. I know this is not set by the hotel but maybe a discount could be agreed with the council

cool, modern, and clean! staff are very welcoming and friendly! The lady on breakfast was so sensitive to our dietary needs and friendly!

property was fine. we were thought expecting hot food choices for breakfast. we didn’t realise it was just warm toast and the rest was cold food options. my children didn’t really enjoy this, as they were expecting scrambled eggs, baked beans, vegetarian sausages etc. By day three the croissants were rock solid- so clearly fresh pastries were not being offered, just what was left from the day before. we paid £9.99 for breakfast each- a warm breakfast with hot meal options should be a must. toast and cold hard boiled eggs isn’t enough.

Me and my dog have Been staying at this hotel a lot. The hotel is absolutely lovely, the staff are brilliant, I had a problem a few weeks ago with my bank card, it was frozen and I couldn’t get access to my money so was having to borrow ect off friends and family, but I couldn’t always receive it on time, I asked one of the young ladies, Ella, a few times If it was possible if i could pay later on in the day, sometimes possibly the next day, I expected it wouldn’t be allowed as the policy is to pay upfront, but due to the circumstances and that I had been a regular guest , but she said it was fine, which I thought was extremely good and very much appreciated it!!! I explained how embarrassed I was at the situation, but she kindly reassured me not to worry. I think the hotel is much better than a two star, it’s lovely inside, accepts dogs, and great staff, I’d definitely recommend!

Simple check in, rooms are super clean and love how modern and up to date the rooms and bathrooms are! Has all the essentials you need really for a standard room and great for the price.

I stayed for 2 nights in the same room and check out on the last day is 12pm I had a staff member from reception disturb me at 10:50/11am to ask when I’m checking out. This was unacceptable as check out says 12pm so I shouldn’t be asked or rushed as long as I’m out by 12pm. Didn’t see the need of the question as the staff member replied with okay. So there was no need for that. Wish there was free parking for those who are staying who have a car

Basic clean room breakfast nice staff on reception were great

The cleaner on our floor was extremely rude on check out day. She walked in our room at 10.50 without knocking even though check out was 12 midday. She then proceeded to knock again 3 times well before check out time. We felt rushed to leave. She was very rude to us when left chunnering away about us not leaving early. There was no need for her behavior.

No-fuss check-in. Reasonable quality food on-site. All staff friendly and helpful. Clean decor and good condition of all fittings. Kettle with tea/coffee in room. Most of the comforts and facilities of the more expensive hotel chains. Reasonably close to city centre and station.

Light sleepers might be able to ask for a room that doesn't overlook the busy inner by-pass, although on the fourth floor, it did not concern me. The plastic stool in the room was a bit too economical. A small table to put case, belongings, clothes would be helpful, as there is plenty of floor space.

Friendly staff, clean room, silent-fill toilet, room was the perfect temperature overnight, lovely restaurant.

Very basic room. Not enough pillows (only one each), no hand towels, tho staff were happy to provide them. A little inconvenient to put the dog-friendly rooms on the 6th floor, as sometimes they need to go outside quickly. Had we known the car park was so far away, we wouldn't have chosen this hotel, but by the time we were made aware of the parking situation, we had already been locked into a non-refundable booking.

Although this is a budget hotel the hotel felt anything but. The room was already set up for our family will the pull down bed made and it was immaculately clean. The bed was so comfy and we had a great night's sleep, it was a firm mattress and not too high. The breakfast was delicious and lots of options such as pastries, meat, yoghurt, fruit etc with tea, coffee and juices. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and families.

I would have liked more pillows but this wasn't an issue, and I'm sure if I asked at reception they would have got me some.
