Lovely lounge area, really affordable, friendly staff, pet friendly.

Car parking a slight pain, 10 mins walk away, hard to drop off luggage, passengers etc. The £9 parking deal didn't really work as we had to pay £27 for 2 nights and unfortunately Ibis staff couldn't resolve.

I liked the location, and the overall experience was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had a good rest and the room I chose is perfect for solo and, as advertised, would be for couples. While there was noise from the roads below, it didn't impede my sleep at all. I would come back if I was in the area.

Even though breakfast was included in the price of my stay, I feel like more hot options should've been available. For example, some bacon and hash browns would've been a nice touch. And although my room was nice overall, the bathroom, the shower specifically, needs a little more attention in terms of cleanliness. From what I could tell, there was a fair bit of what looked like mould in between the tiles (it was black, which is why I came to that conclusion).

The hotel location is just perfect. It is just outside the centre which is easily accessible by foot, and also of Ecclesall Road which had many shops and restaurants and bars. The room was basic with a comfortable bed and and kettle etc. I had all I needed. Downstairs was the best bit - I loved the atmosphere. No stuffy reception area, a cosy feeling bar/cafe area with plenty of comfortable seating. I sat there most nights. Buffet style breakfast was also served in that same area from 6.30 to 10.30, with plenty of choice for everyone. The staff were amazing.

I would have liked a toilet brush in my room!

I asked for a quiet room and with it being new years eve was not expecting it to be a possibility but completely surprised when I arrived and it had already been sorted out and it was very quiet just what I needed. The reception area was open, spacious and colourful with food and drink available.

The price seemed excessive for a budget hotel at £77 a night, when other more spacious hotels were £54 but we're full on the nights I wanted. However probably one of the most welcoming hotels I've stayed at so far. The location is not ideal for further travel, with having only bus routes nearby so a car or taxi would be an advantage for this location.

This is one of the nicest budget hotels I've ever stayed in. I was just in Sheffield for one night, seeing a concert with a friend, so we didn't want anything fancy, just a bed for the night. But we loved how clean and modern it was, especially the reception and bar area. And the breakfast buffet for just an extra £10 per person, was especially lovely with the kind of wide-ranging food you would get in a European city. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was powerful and warm. Would definitely stay there again.

It was a bit understaffed when we arrived and we had to wait a while for someone to check us in. And we would've loved to try the cocktails in the bar, but they finished serving them at 9.30pm before we were back from the concert. We'd booked a triple room as we were expecting another friend to stay who ended up not being able to make it, but the room was very tiny, so it would've been a squeeze to get 3 adults in. The room was more suitable for 2 adults and a child. But those are only three very minor things.

Rooms and general areas felt slightly Dusty, could of maybe done with a deep clean around the building and bathrooms The food in the cafe was disappointing, we ordered a pizza and chips to share and had to send it back as it was undercooked. The member off staff Imma was happy to take it back to the kitchen and asked for it to be cooked longer. When it returned it was still very undercooked and inedible. However Imma was super apologetic and rectified the whole situation , so a big thanks to her 😊

The rooms were clean and tidy. The reception we received was welcoming and friendly and the staff attended to our query over a room size booking mix up satisfactorily . The cooked breakfast was minimal but fair.

The room sizes are small. Worth noting if you're travelling with a family or group. Sausages in the cooked breakfast are low quality so an assumption can be made that other ingredients were also of low quality. We bought our own pillows and one was left in the room but the hotel claimed no knowledge of it. So be careful not to leave anything of value behind. This is a budget hotel. There are much worse but do expect budget everything from service to food to accomodation. If you have the opportunity to move up to a quality hotel for £5-10 extra I would recommend doing so. Although price itself is no guarantee of quality.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and simple, with no shower over the bath, which I prefer a cubicle. Telly was a good size. The shelf near the bed is a brilliant idea. All the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were polite and good at their job.

Wished the room had more bins. Only had a bathroom bin so had to put most my rubbish on the shelf above the TV. And I wish there was one comfortable chair to eat on, then a plastic stall. I don't like making a mess on the bed and I apologise to the cleaners that would have more work to do to get the food stains out of the duvet covers. The tv stand would be helpful if it was on an arm so you can lay properly in bed and turn the tv towards you. I had to lay in the middle of bed, against the wall, in the mornings and nights. Apart from those minor faults and it was a great stay, even in a rough part of Sheffield.

Great value accommodation, not too far from the city centre and conveniently located on bus routes out to the Peak District. The lounge/dining area is very pleasant, and the breakfast buffet surprisingly good for a budget hotel. There are also plenty of eating choices nearby - lots of takeaways on London Road, and a big food court in Moor Market.

I appreciate that a room in a budget hotel is not going to have a lot of facilities, and that was mostly fine. I did think that a couple of small improvements, such as a towel rail/ towel hooks in the bathroom and some storage boxes (e.g. the cheap cloth kind) under the bed for luggage, could have made the room more convenient for a minimal outlay of money and effort.

At a bargain last minute booking price of £38, my first stay at this extremely high end Budget branch of Ibis I was impressed with how meticulously clean, and comfortable the room and hotel facilities were. Surpassing their non-budget hotel branches by many miles. The air con had 'cool/dry/fan/heat' all working and efficient (though I was on my own in a double room in August/Sept - when temperatures had cooled). Full channel sky TV, tea making kit, beautiful shower suite, space saving storage and clothes rack great use of space , modern and tasteful. Lobby, restaurant halls and lifts all in good clean order.

The hotel, through none of it's own fault, has no parking but a special rate with the local multi storey. For those of you, like me, who hold a Bluebadge Arly Street has disabled bays with no time limit just display the badge. Sheffield Parking Enforcement dept helped me find these.
