I recently had the pleasure of staying at Haigs Hotel, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The staff at this hotel truly set the standard for hospitality. We were greeted with warm smiles and genuine friendliness from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The family atmosphere at Haigs is unmatched. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels like part of their extended family. Whether it was accommodating our special dietary needs, arranging last-minute transportation, or providing thoughtful recommendations for local attractions, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Their dedication to ensuring our stay was perfect was evident in every interaction. The facilities were immaculate but it’s the people that made my experience exceptional. Their friendliness and eagerness to assist with any request, no matter how big or small, left a lasting impression on me.

this was clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff and provided excellent value for money. The room was warm and reasonably spacious with tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. It placed excellently for visiting the NEC which was about a 20 minute drive away and in a very nice area with a nearby park about 5 minutes walk away. It a reasonably priced restaurant which wasn’t open on the Monday when we stayed.

There were only two points to comment on. The shower was either very hot or just cold with nothing in between. And we found our beds soft to sleep on but other guests may prefer a soft bed.

Spacious room with ensuite bathroom. Large flat screen TV. Location was good for us as we were travelling North to South. Generous provision of tea/coffee etc. On the whole the stay was good value for money for a Saturday night.

Decor is rather dated - as is the ensuite. There were two flights of steep stairs to the room and no lift. A second chair in the room would have been appreciated and unfortunately we did not find the beds particularly comfortable.

The service was friendly and professional from all members of the team. The menu had some very interesting dishes and was good value for a three course meal. The services team at dinner and breakfast looked after guests very well.

To provide a balance, it is fair to say that the room had a few areas that needed some TLC but this wasn't a problem for me. The decor in the restaurant is traditional and an interesting change to experience.

Absolutely lovely little pet-friendly hotel. Great value. The rooms were charming and a good size with tea-making facilities, bottled water and free biccies! Decent parking out front. The restaurant looked lovely and reasonably-priced although we didn't eat there.

The electric shower in room 4 was broken (cold water only) as of early Dec 23. We reported this and it will apparently be sorted next week. It wasn't a major issue as there was lots of hot water for a quick bath, just a minor annoyance

The location is convenient for Warwick University (on the quiet side driving in) and close to restaurants, take-aways and small supermarkets. Convenient free parking - also good bus and train links. Decent size room, with comfy bed. Quiet room even though the hotel is on a busy road.

Fairly narrow stairs to rooms, okay if you don't have much luggage. Decor is a bit dated, but everything is functional. WIFI struggled a bit on a Zoom call, but fine for everyday mobile phone use.

Close to the railway and so very easy to travel to events at the commonwealth games. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good to have a fan available as we were not able to sleep with the windows open. Plenty of tea and coffee etc, and plenty of parking. Very good value for money

Shower was a little erratic, both in temperature control and the flow of water which came and went... we mastered it though. The road outside the hotel is quite busy, and we found it too noisy to have the windows open as our room was at the front of the building. With the windows shut however it was very quiet, and a fan was provided which helped with the heat. If the owners are updating at any time, a slightly bigger TV would be welcome.

We stayed for 3 nights and ate somewhere different each night. The best meal by far was in the Haigs Brasserie and was very reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great for rail and bus links and for great walks in the countryside. All in all good value for money, given its location.

The road noise wasn't great, so we had to buy some earplugs from the local pharmacy to be able to sleep as best we could. The room and bathroom were a bit tired but you can't expect too much for the cost.

Check-in was completed quickly and efficiently. The hotel was easy to find. My room was small but fully functional and comfortable. I appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities with extra being available from reception if required. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was light and airy, having an skylight was a bonus. There was plenty of hot water at all times. I also appreciated the large surface area above the sink for storing all my bathroom essentials!

It was in a good location about a fifteen minute walk from the station. There was a lovely garden at the back to sit in. Our room was up a short but steep staircase which may not suit everyone. The bed was very comfortable and it had all you would need for your stay. Staff kindly brought up an iron and ironing board when requested. Breakfast was good and tasty. Very good value.

The shower in our room (19) was a mixer tap over the bath and it was very difficult to get the temperature right, either cold or boiling.
