The greeting on arrival from Piyal amd Jake, the staff were phenomenal, Belle and John at the bar were awesome, they put in real effort to make my stay soo special. I love how engaging everyone was, yes, I am a very inquisitive person so did have a desire to get to know the staff and share with them a little about myself (that it was my Birthday) and I was made to feel like a Queen. I can't wait to stay again.

The condiments holders at breakfast were tired and dirty, a bit of occasional maintenance would prevent them having to be replaced. I spoke to David on Sunday morning about this and advised he could use aluminium foil scrunched and dipped in water to polish the metal. There were quite a few scuffs in the room on the corners of the woodwork and walls, that being said, it didn't take away from my hotel experience.

Hotel was very good for what we required. The bar and sports centre area was exceptional, made for good evenings while away with work. Parking was ample and the rooms were of good size/quality. Food was reasonably good; we had breakfast one morning which may have been a tad pricey, but enjoyable. Only had dinner once which was pretty good.

Unfortunately, the lift was out of service and being on the third floor made for many stairs during our stay. Perhaps i'm just lazy though. We did get to use the service lift on arrival. Pretty sure the direct rate for a last minute room addition was cheaper than that of booking.com, despite having a genius discount.

Excellent performance from duty manager (Paddy? Danny?) after he was informed of a problem (see below).

Had problems with badly blocked washbasin in the room. Reported it ASAP first morning. Was told there was no maintenance staff over weekend but housekeeping would have a look. On return was told that housekeeping said there was no problem. Not true. Person we spoke to then said she would get duty manager to look at it within 30 mins. 90 mins later no-one had been. Found he not been told at all. He then came and resolved the problem very professionally.

location, spa facilities, friendly and accommodating staff throughout. breakfast was beautiful help yourself with plenty of choice. plenty of different seating areas in the bar and reception area.with large screen tvs everywhere. overall a pleasant stay

we booked 3 rooms (4 adults, 3 children) and one felt like it was in the middle of being refurbished whilst the other 2 was fine. (as we only stayed 1 night we didnt bother to ask to change room). a view would have been very nice but unfortuntely all rooms looked onto a blank wall and lovely large windows which could have had a clean.

The facilities and amenities were fantastic, and the rooms themselves were pretty stylish and decent. The bed was super comfy, we really didn't want to get out of bed each morning! Parking free on the weekends and Bank Holidays is fantastic. Location wise was awesome, ideal location with many shops and petrol stations around. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay and will 100% be returning.

The price of room service and good was high, but not a major deal. Paying for parking during the week is not ideal, so I had to tactically book for the weekend. The biggest issue I had was that the housekeeping that service the rooms (i.e. cleaning) was really poor. Some days it wasn't done, and when it was, it wasn't done well or cleaned properly at all. Even the tea/coffee wasn't replaced. My wife and I just ended up cleaning ourselves each night.

The tea and coffee facilities in the room were great especially the large mugs. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient and very helpful.

I found the shower facilities awkward to use as the shower was at one end of the bath and the controls were on the opposite wall. I have not seen this before. Although it was clear that two people were checked into the room I had to ask for a second set of towels each day. The quality of the toiletries was poor for a four star hotel.

Was Xmas trimmed nicely Rooms good Housekeeping good, didn’t leave you with nothing as we were there 2 nights, offered towels, bedding, tea&coffee. Staff very on the ball, pleasant too. Like they did actually want to be at work and there for you. Food in evening dinner function, well done, got food out in good time and order. Well trained and like clockwork.

Cold downstairs!!!!!! Bar ,reception. Put me off the swimming. No security on lift. Anyone can go up to rooms in lift.

Staff very helpful and accommodating. Lots of facilities and rooms lovely!

Only negative I have was the hotel room doors don’t shut on their own when you leave. Normally hotel room doors slam shut behind you, however these do not, they get wedged and you have to physically pull them shut. The amount of times we left our room unlocked because the door didn’t actually shut fully. Noticed lots of others did the same too!

Easy and plenty of parking fro the outset. Self check was very easy and simple. Even though a staff member was around for any issues with this it wasn't required. The bar Grill facility was excellent and plenty of room. I noticed the cleanliness of the property was so good and the rooms are very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was excellent and the service we got from the staff was brilliant. 10 out of 10 stay for me. Will be back

3 miles outside of Solihull wasn't ideal but a short taxi journey (approx £8.50) was absolutely fine.

The hotel was outstanding in everyway. The hotel was fantastically clean throughout. The pool sauna and steam were outstanding and relaxing. The bedroom was clean and the bed was fantastic so a good night sleep was had

Restaurant Staff were poor and needed proper training. I am CEO of a Training Company and Head office should get in touch as we could add tremendous value to the group. The Breakfast buffet was poor and cold , and it was very off putting. The sausages were not properly cooked. The bacon was fat running in grease.
