Marvelous place to use as a base for your holiday. Ian, one of the hosts cooks a fantastic breakfast to your own specifications, the coffee is great and there is fruit, cereal and toast if you want it. It's the little touches that make it so comfortable. Fresh bottled water every day, a jug of water to use in the kettle, a little pack of cookies. Soap, shampoo and shower gel is provided as well as plenty of towels. Another simple thing is the switches for the bedside table lamps are attached to the table so you aren't hunting down the cord to switch them on or off. As I said, simple but so useful. Our room wasn't ensuite but we had our own private bathroom which was just down the hall. All in all, fantastic, oh and there were 2 really cute pups who love to say hello but won't bother you if you don't want them to.

A really minor thing but the air freshener in the bathroom was a bit overpowering. That's it. The only thing. It's a lovely place to stay

Location was in a quiet spot at the end of a cul de sac; whilst Bugle village does not have great facilities, our B&B was in an ideal spot for getting to places to visit. Our room was very clean, well furnished and had everything we needed- great attention to detail. Whilst initially I was concerned about the private bathroom being a few steps away from the room itself, in fact it was fine. We were provided with comfy robes and the bathroom had both a bath and separate shower- even tolietries were provided. The breakfast choice was great- whatever your appetite first thing in a morning! very good value for money. We were made very welcome and would certainly stay there again if we visit the area again

There wasn't anything negative I could say about it.

Excellent hosts. Ian and Wayne made us feel most welcome in their lovely home. The food was beautiful and very well presented. Beautiful garden which we were welcome to enjoy on a sunny day/evening, this made our stay just perfect. Situated in a quiet location which was perfectly placed for visiting the surrounding areas. Comfortable room, lovely large bed and the use of our own private bathroom which was situated just down the hall, the separate bathroom did not prove to be a problem at all. One of the most pleasant places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Thank you

Wish our stay could have been longer.

Beautiful garden and very peaceful. Ian was the perfect host, helpful & friendly. Delicious breakfasts each morning.

It would have been nice to have an en-suite. Only 2 rooms, one of which was en-suite but we had the other. A very nice clean room but not so good to go out to the bathroom - would request the other room on a next visit.

Ian and Wayne certainly have an eye for detail- hosting an incredibly clean and welcoming bnb with a beautiful garden, in a quaint village in Cornwall. They are very friendly and patient hosts and have a great knowledge of the area's attractions and activities to enhance your visit. The beds were very comfortable and facilities well equipped and looked after. An excellently cooked hearty breakfast was offered every morning and went down very well, to get us going for our days exploring sunny Cornwall.

Our breakfasts were enjoyed overlooking the stunning garden which was a joy to look out on. “Eden’s Rest” is such a fitting name for this small but perfect B&B tucked away in its tranquil setting in the peace and quiet of Bugle, near St. Austell and just three miles from The Eden Project. Thanks to the very thorough and detailed information supplied, it was very easy to find.

Nothing we didn't like! We were very well looked after ... thank you!

Bugle as a village is quite ordinary. Eden's Rest was a shock. Ian managed to mix stylish and homely and had thought of absolutely everything. His cooking was MasterChef standard and he's such a nice man and a wonderful host.

What's not to like?

Ian, our host received us with a smile as soon as we approached the property helping us to park, invited us into the property welcoming us and advised us on the places we could visit, showed us around the facilities for our stay. Breakfast, bed, shower, hospitality was like welcoming a family, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

No complaints at all.

The breakfast was delicious every single day! Having a separate lounge was really lovely. We both thoroughly loved the bath tub.

Maybe a small fridge in the room for fresh milk and chilled drinks.
