We initially booked a night in one of the hotel rooms however mid-shower the water went cold and there was a known issue with the hotel heating/plumbing. We were swiftly upgraded to one of the chalets where the water supply wouldn't be an issue and a generous discount off our food/wine order in their restaurant. Our evening meal was amazing and full of flavour. Breakfast was a lovely selection of pastries/cereal/toast/tea/coffee. Very peaceful place to stay mid-week and the lady serving us when we arrived and left was lovely and accommodating.

Original hotel room had flies in it as windows were open with no fly net, the four poster bed was visibly leaning to one side and was unstable.

My friend and I only had lunch but the menu looked interesting especially with locally grown produce. Well done Will. The location was perfect for our needs which was to attend a concert at the arboretum. Transport was made available which was an extra bonus. Again, many thanks. We also liked the whole feel of the camping and chalet site which was family and pet friendly. We had a problem with the shower which was sorted within 30mins of reporting. Thanks to the maintenance man. All staff were helpful and friendly. A great team effort.

First impression was disappointing with flies in the entrance area and a dirty front door. I'm sure the staff were not aware of this. However, once inside the dining area was full of character and spotless.

vVery nice, cute little countryside pub. Cute little log burner throwing off lots of heat. Food was really nice, I’m not a massive fan of beef burgers but had their Wagu burger which was delicious! Both the staff members where really nice and very welcoming, there was Maddy and another guy who unfortunately can’t remember their name. would visit again 👍

Bed was very firm, room wasn’t warm either and the light above the bathroom mirror wouldn’t turn off. Wifi for guest didn’t work in my room, also could do with bigger tv since it’s so far away in the room but that’s a small thing.

the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Lovely outside space. we stayed in the Inn but would consider one of the chalets another time. For people who liked camping it looked a really sustainable and safe place. The evening meal was very good value, imaginative dishes from locally sourced products, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The cereal section seems to be geared more towards children. Whilst we understood they only offer continental some yogurts or cheeses would have been a welcome addition.

The room was not spotlessly clean. The li en was clean and fresh, the bathroom was clean. but there was dust on all surfaces and many bits on the floor. But not enough for me to cause a fuss! Shame it was continental breakfast. But we knew this before so wasn’t disappointed.

From the second we stepped foot inside this cozy pub and met the welcoming staff we loved this place. The young man that hosted us during our two night stay, 15-17 october, provided an excellent service. We loved our beautiful trippel room and the noise from the pub didn't reach us. The pub and food was lovely, and so is the grounds. Great location near many beautiful sights and villages in the Cotswolds. We would love to came back!

loved the property, no complainants at all would definitely return. Not happy with Booking.com as I paid extra for a four poster bed when actually no four posters were available. I’ve had no reply from this site about this issue in 3 days, very disappointing won’t be using the site again !

Great staff, food, clean and comfortable, brilliant choice of music in the pub !

Breakfast was too late for me but I was delivered some warm croissants so thanks for that. It wasn’t made clear when they might come so I had nearly left! The food is good but maybe a little pricey. A latge glass of wine was £9. However I appreciate costs are rising. Nice room. Please see this as constructive comment.

Atmosphere in the pub was good, busy and friendly. Bedroom exceptionally clean and well equipped. Did not hear any pub noise from our room either. Enjoyed the food and great choice of wines and beer.

I was a bit annoyed at dogs in the pub near the eating area that were allowed to semi fight, however friendly the fight might have been, neither the dog owners or the staff checked this, until I made it known I did not want to hear dogs fighting while I was eating. Breakfast was geared towards young people, I knew it was continental, but I would have preferred a bit of toast.

Everyone was very nice. Callum greeted us and made us feel welcome. It was wonderful how they catered to my dietary requirements, even having a special menu printed out from which to choose.

A bit tight going in and out of shower but otherwise a really nice stay.
