Amazing time yet again staff are very attentive nothing is to much food and room beautiful this is the second time we have visited

Lady at the spa quite rude from entering she kept going on about the closing time came to jacuzzi to remind us we paid for an hr but got asked to leave 10 mins before when getting ready she kept coming in the changing room to make her presence known …. Very disappointed as the time before the ladies where lovely even let us stay longer

Lovely gardens, surroundings and a beautiful building. The staff were exceptional and could not do enough for us. I have travelled extensively over the years and what we experienced with the service would put the majority of 5 * hotels to shame, the only hotel which has come close to matching this is the Langham in Chicago. The food was excellent and we had a lovely private dining room for dinner which was unexpected as there was just 4 of us.

The only two minor negative points would be: 1) When booking dinner on their website I chose the a la carte dining preference. However, our only option on the night was a 6 course tasting menu. 2) Mallory Court advertise as a Spa hotel and the rooms are priced on the higher side, especially for the area. For what we spent for 2 people (circa £600) I would expect to have the spa facilities included and not have to pay an uplift of £15 per person per hour. This put us off due to the principle of it and the fact you had to book in your time so could not be spontaneous.

Overall lovely. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The interior of the resort is pleasant, smells great, and is super clean. The staff was attentive, friendly, and kind. The room's amenities were generous, with lots of thoughtful attention to detail. We were impressed with everything this place had to offer and will surely return.

The pillows on the bed were flat and insubstantial. We lost a night's sleep- which is a shame because the bed was great. The bathroom lighting was not ideal, and with no options to tone down the spotlights over the tub - it wasn’t relaxing. The pool and jacuzzi require a reservation and additional fees, and the hours are limited. I’ve been to resorts all around the world- I’ve not seen this particular arrangement of limitations. Pre-booking is understandable if the facilities are small- but to charge guests of the hotel additional to swim in the pool is off-putting. Still, we might have gone ahead with it if the hours were extended. The last thing- The “fresh fruit” at breakfast was kinda gross, small pieces soaked in juice. A fruit plate would have more appeal.

Very smart looking property with old country house charm. There are a couple of more modern properties as well but overall very comfortable and in good condition.

Not much we were very kindly upgraded to an Orchard Suite which was Lovell a very spacious room with a lovely bathroom. This was very kind and I am not wishing to really make any complaints. However the issue was the room was very warm and when you went to turn the temperature down it seems it was always set at 20 degrees. If you requested a lower temperature it would jump back automatically to 20 degrees and the room temperature was generally on the very warm side.

Such a personal friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was of high quality, from the breakfasts, to the evening meals ... and I found a great local wine, which I loved!

As a listed building, it's staircase was diffcult for me to climb, as it only had the one handrail, and there was no lift. But luggage was happily portered for me, so I managed. The room was lovely, but as wevery, I always like more light than is usually available. The drop head shower is a strong dislike for me, and I was sorry that was it the ony head installed in my shower.

* Fantastic hotel, comfortable room, lovely view and very friendly staff - especially at check-in * Stunning grounds which were really nice to walk around * Wonderful on-site spa, my wife rating it as the best massage she's ever had * Very nice breakfast

* Cheapest room only offers the continental breakfast. Was informed of this by the hotel, so upgraded to avoid disappointed. I feel that the hotel should really look to review this rule * Use of the pool / sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests * Gym's air-conditioning cannot be altered - was exceptionally cold

Room was spacious and clean

Staff were friendly but not experienced enough to deal with simple issues. Taking drinks order at the lounge. 3 members of staff were chatting at the check in desk while we waited 20 minutes for our drinks to be ordered. When I went to the bar to order I was told to go back and take a seat and they will come and take the order! ( There was no COVID restrictions per say). Access to the pool and facilities are extra and this is unusual and we are not talking about spa sessions. would I book again ? No

The gardens and settings are excellent, just beautiful breakfast and afternoon Tea were very good I have to say, Jeremy made us feel right at home, along with all the staff, so I will be returning and recommending tthis excellent place

Not sure why you have to pay £15 per hour for the Spa (Sauna/Steam and pool) so I didn’t use that. The room was initially dusty, I.e desks, lamps and remote control, plus their was a large spider in the room. However the staff were quick to sort this all out.

First of all the Staff were great. The way they are is exactly what I would expect from a top hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Although I didn't use the gym, it looked great to me. I would definitely stay again.

These are just nitpicking but I would have preferred that everything was under one roof. Example: If you just wanted Continental Breakfast, that would be a short walk away in a different building, but hot breakfast was in the main building, My room was outside the main building. It's no real big deal but my preference would be that everything is one building.

Excellent room and very good breakfast.

We were disappointed to be told on arrival that we would have to pay extra to enjoy the swimming pool, & sauna.
