These are really cute little rooms next to a traditional style pub. Really clean and comfortable, and in a good location, a short walk to the castle and town centre. Arrived early and they kindly let us check in as the room was ready to go. Nice and cosy with a wall radiator and also a free standing one, if you want extra toastiness. Plenty of tea and coffee provisions which are always welcome! The room was comfortably big enough for my husband and me as well as our medium sized dog. Plenty of parking space too!

Could use some thicker curtains as the (necessary) outside lighting makes it seem like daylight at all times, and maybe remind customers leaving the pub late on that there may be people trying to sleep a few metres away! Aside from this there were no real negatives to post! I'd definitely come back.

What a friendly, welcoming family the people are who run the Black Horse Inn. Dog friendly hotels are a necessity when I am working away, as well as spacious accommodation , a comfortable bed , and flexibility when I don't know in the mornings whether I will be staying again that night. All those points are a 10 out of 10 . I won't be bothering to look anywhere else whenever I am nearby.

I didn't like having to get out of bed to go to work!

The hosts walked the walk being dog-friendly, not just talking the talk. There was a genuine welcome for all, whether 2-legged & 4-legged. The nearby racecourse was a fantastic dog-walking area with grass, woodland & streams (life-saver at 30+°C).

Sorry, if we are supposed to give a balanced account (with negatives too), we failed to think of anything that would prevent us from recommending either The Black Horse Inn or the hosts.

Very welcoming staff and very helpful to a request we made couldn't do enough to help and put themselves out to make sure we were happy

One of the other guests decided to have friends over and were quite noisy after the pub closed

Room clean and tidy Bed was very comfortable ,location was fine for our needs ,suprised that there were no opportunities for breakfast however as there were opporunities to obtain food else where. which proved to be very satisfactory

As mentioned the lack of breakfast facilities as we were told breakfast was going to be provided for fishermen on the Saturday but but not available to guests seemed rather surprising The parking also proved to be a problem.

Room for 3 was very clean and comfortable, one double and a single. Tea and coffee available in room and tv. Excellent value and very close to city centre so great for sightseeing. Host was helpful with places to go. Breakfast not served - we knew that and there were plenty of places to eat nearby even on a Sunday morning.

Happy with everything.

Friendly staff, close to town centre, room good size and comfortable. Despite some niggles, would stay here again

No breakfast available, although Wetherspoons not far away. OK overnight, but traffic noise starts early. No hot water to sink, and another in our group had a faulty shower. Staff only available it seems between 10 am and 10 pm. Otherwise main part of Inn locked up.

Quiet spacious clean room with shower. Comfortable beds. Asked for and got two adjacent rooms

Normally not an issue at all but on hottest day of year, could have done with aircon. 99% of time this not relevant. Easy to open large window, and quiet outside so no bother leaving it open all night. Other clients arriving ahead of us had rather spaced out their cars leaving no room in the car park (arrived 10pm so our fault), but it was easy enough to park nearby and parking was free there until 8am, at which point others had left and I could shift the car to the Black Horse car park.

The owners were very pleasant and helpful. The family room was clean and very spacious but watch out for the low beam. Even though the breakfast is extra, it was a very good full English. Very well located for the centre of Warwick and the church. Just another 5-10 minutes to the castle and a wonderful park along the Avon with a cafe and toilets. A good choice of eating places around the square.

The glass shelf above the basin was too wide. Can't think of anything else.

Breakfast was just what I needed, a full English (although I didn’t want sausages!), with toast and jams, tea and orange juice.

There was no information in the room provided, so we don’t know if there was any wifi. If we stayed longer we would’ve asked but would’ve been nice if there was an info booklet in the room, with info on local restaurants etc too. There was also no hairdryer or shampoo in the room, and there were lights on outside all night so it was a bit bright for getting to sleep. Apart from that it was a lovely place to stay
