Wow, blue shutters exceeded our expectations, such a beautiful location and stunning character home felt very grateful to stay there. Ellie and Tony were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was gorgeous and a lovely big comfy bed with luxurious quilt and pillows. Everything you could think of had been covered and lots of lovely touches. Breakfast was amazing, we came down in the morning and the table was beautifully laid and so much choice of food. We had use of the gorgeous garden and hot tub which was such a treat!! Excellent value for money and already planning our return.

That we were only there 2 nights not more!! 😉

Blue Shutters is set in my favourite village Sutton Poyntz, it's a beautiful village. Although hidden away Blue shutters is easy to access, parking is a very short walk away. The room was a lovely size, and very nice. Ellie got in Lactose free items for me for breakfast, which was greatly appreciated. The food left out for us to make breakfast with was very nice, and items in the fridge for us also. The decor of the spaces ww used was lovely and homely. There were plenty of teas and coffees in the room and a jug of water. We would love to stay again in the future.

The only thing we could have a slight grumble about was the feather pillows, neither of us find them comfortable. But it wouldn't stop us staying again.

blue shutters was one of the best quest houses we have ever stayed in the couple who own this establishment should be very proud with the facilities they offer ,in our opinion value for money was second to none , for what you receive it was well with in any ones budget nothing too much trouble from the owners , breakfast goes well and above expectations more than we needed for our long week end lovely continental breakfast with the option to cook you own English you were completely left alone and not bothered by the owners for all of our stay completely 100 % value for any one like ourselves who prefer the ( left to get on with it break away ) perfect get away for couples

nothing we felt that the owners gave away far too much with their value for money so there was absolutely nothing to criticize about this value for money

Perfect location close to friends with warm welcome from the host Luxury accommodation with very comfy bed Hosts had remembered me saying the stay was part of a 'Significant Birthday' week and had not only left a card for me but had even gone to the trouble to find the right age-number - what a lovely gesture!

We only had a brief stopover so couldn't make use of the garden, hot-tub, or the huge range of breakfast options available!

Our host Ellie welcomed us warmly and our accommodation was very comfortable but a true cottage experience. Lots of little extras and an exceptional spread for breakfasts. Great location with a cute pub a short walk away for dinner.

The height of the sloping bathroom ceiling was okay for me but a bit of careful navigation required for a taller person.

Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location. Owners very friendly and helpful. Such a lovely quiet place to stay but near enough to town as well. Planning our next visit again very soon!

Nothing could be better!! Faultless!

We loved the property, garden, jacuzzi and location. Very clean. Location is perfect.

Friendly hosts however overstayed welcome. The host came into the property 25minutes prior to check out which made us feel a little as though we were being rushed to leave although it was not check out time. Slight lack of privacy where hosts come in and out of property. Continental breakfast provided only. The downstairs smelt of dog and we heard the dogs whineing and scratching in the room next door whilst having dinner. No TV downstairs. WiFi didn't work.

Quiet with loads of character in a small sleepy village. Lovely early morning view from the bedroom. Very clean and really comfy bed. We would certainly love to stay again!

The headroom in the bathroom is a little low for tall people, but that really just added to the character of the property!

Lovely lady owned the property, very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast laid out every morning. good choice of cereals, plus croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts, eggs ham, cheese etc etc. Very comfortable large bed. Exclusive use of fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, bathroom, in fact half of a large cottage.

Only one small criticism: bathroom rather small, my husband kept banging his head on the ceiling!

Great hosts, beautiful location, a beautiful place to stay.

I would prefer a cooked breakfast in with the booking as I feel it's part of the holiday. However I can also understand from a business point of view why it may not be offered. It does say Continental Breakfast when booking so it's simply down to personal preference and there are facilities to cook your own if you wish to.
