The rooms were very clean and bright. Good King size bed and very comfortable too. Good size rooms, Kitchen, bathroom and the courtyard was decent enough to sit out (only when the sun was shining). The cooking facilities were okay as we had the microwave too cook with (poached eggs/Scrambled eggs etc). All plates and cutlery were of good quality. Good size tea mugs. A few little tea bags/coffee and such were left for us. Car parking was as described, 7 bays for the guests. Ideally situated for all restaurant's bars shops and the local Metro station (5 minute walk). The beach was about 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. We had good weather with us too which made the stay all the more relaxing. Yes Stay Coastal is a good place to stay and we will be back that is for sure.

No complaints

The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The sea view was gorgeous and we loved the comfy window seat. Everywhere in Whitley Bay was walkable from the flat, especially restaurants and cafes. It was really useful to have a small kitchen facility with a fridge in our room, and everything was perfectly clean. We slept really well and it was quiet around. Thank you so much, we had a wonderful stay.

There wasn’t really any direct contact with the owners, the key was in a box outside, so this made the experience a bit impersonal. But I understand this is a more efficient way of doing things.

This property was exceptional. Very modern, very clean and comfortable, plus set in a great location. The kitchenette area was a great addition, along with good-quality tea and coffee. The area is quiet but location is close to town centre and Metro.

I’d have liked a check-out time of later than 10am, if possible. Minor quibble; the internal door in the apartment next to where the shoe rack/coat hangers are located could do with a door stop to hold it open for when going in & out repeatedly (such as when getting items from suitcase when getting ready). It’s a very small ‘dislike’, however, as everything else was great and I’d love to stay here again.

Great location, close to sea front and 5 mins from the metro station. The metro takes you across Tyne and Wear and into Newcastle. I know the area and it is quite run down but some new properties being built and the area being revamped etc so don’t let the first impressions of the street put you off. Stayed in Room 1. Basic kitchen equipment, microwave and kettle. Local coffee was a really nice touch. Easy to check in with codes which are emailed. Fast responses to messaging in app.

A few downsides but could be easily fixed. The temperature of the shower was really hard to control, not sure if the tap was broken but quite dangerous with scalding hot water. Couldn’t shower properly. The second door which led into the main room was extremely heavy and swung back fast, I bruised myself arm on it on the first day. Needs to be loosened. Couldn’t find any heating first night was really cold. Found instructions but no actual radiator. Car parking was full when we got there, maybe this should be numbered per room. So people taking multiple cars don’t take all of the spaces. As with the development of the houses next door people might have difficulty parking. Need a full length mirror please the ones next to the bed are too high.

Extremely clean with lovely decor. The staff had outstanding communication. Had to message via the app a few times (didn’t get the email to get into the property/also no key left in the room) but they responded in record time. Very helpful and sorted the minor issues right away! Would definitely recommend. We also slept in for our check out and they were great about it (sorry again!)

As mentioned in some of the other reviews the shower is very hot, couldn’t put it lower than 38degrees, I could manage but might be an issue for others. The ironing board didn’t seem very steady.

Apartment 7 was beautifully presented, alot more spacious than expected, and very comfortable. The additional homely touches were very welcome. Location was perfect for walking to the seafront and the parking space was a great bonus. We will definitely stay here again, thank you 😊

There wasn't anything we "didn't like" but would've been handy to have a dustpan and brush for spillages and a few more microwaveable lidded bowls. Paint was also peeling on slope above one of the single beds but this could be recent water damage from roof maybe so not been noticed/dealt with yet.

Generous coffee, tea etc left. Spotless in every way. very comfortable bed, super linen. Good blinds/curtains and lighting. Clear entry and exit instructions.

Shower control was a bit stuck on hot - couldn't reduce temperature very well. Door between hallway/wardrobe was very heavy - it's a fire door so we understand it has to be specifically hinged, but I imagine an older person with weaker hands would have struggled - perhaps hinges need to be adjusted. TV control batteries flat.

Very well located, near the sea, very clean, very quiet (only neighbors woke up at 6am the last morning) Good bed, kitchen clean

TV was not working properly (too bad especially on rainy nights!) don’t know if that was the remote (batteries) or TV itself, that looked a little old. Missing coffee !!! Only for 1 coffee but we were staying 3 nights… Shower : very very hot water that was impossible to regulate The ceiling was not clean (old leak?)

The room was really lovely and spacious. Teas and coffees available were all great. Super close to town as well as being able to see the sea from our window. Comfortable bed and instructions on how to access the property we're clear and easy to understand

The only thing I would change is that the shower didn't seem to change temperature no matter which way you turned it. It was a slightly hotter than I would have liked but not the end of the world

It is dog friendly and had everything we needed. The tea and coffee from local suppliers was lovely bonus as was the parking! Also, it’s a 2 min walk away from the beach. The room, kitchenette and bathroom were very modern.

There’s no housekeeping which wasn’t a problem but it would be nice to have the option of fresh towels. Also, the pillows were a little too firm and could have been a little softer but I appreciate this is a personal preference.
