Everything went fine😊Very cosy hotel, especially for the family 😊The most important thing was that hotels location is very close to the beach ⛱️ Our room was big enough for all of us and our dogs 🐕and the beds were awesome for sleeping as well ❤️We could not imagine to have those fantastic beds🥰 A huge thanks for the friendly hotel staff😍We planing to come back again 🥰

Last night was just terrible because of the other next to our room, noise drunk people,we couldn't even sleep because of their disgusting behaviour 😡The hotel staff tried to sort out everything. Many thanks for it🙂

It was an excellent location. The breakfast was lovely ( would of liked a vegi option however) on cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. The shower was nice.

The room wasn't the cleanest needed a hoover and new carpet or steam clean. There was a hair in the bath so was glad I didn't use the bath! Also some shaving cream on the floor which we cleaned ourself in case of slippage. Also my partner had to go to ask for toilet rolls as non were provided in the room. The next day cleaning the hair was still in the bath. The sink was a little stained and the cleaner hadn't changed the pillow case that I had spilt a drop of wine on. The cleaner also left some bin liners in the room, had emptied the bins at least. If the room was cleaner I'd definitely stay there again as it was very reasonable.

Lovely staff, value for money, close to shops, restaurants ,bars and beach and short walk metro

Only thing that let it down was the bar, which wasn't open on the first night after we came back from having a meal, although we were offered a drink but had to drink it in reception, and the second night although open was no-one in and very quiet

We were let down on the day of our travel by another hotel, and we found the Windsor was the cheapest in the area. I always review based on the price I've paid. Its in a very good location, minutes from the beach and the local bars and restaurants, and a short taxi journey into Tynemouth for some very good bars and top restaurants. The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with some work, however the rooms are a very good size, very clean and have everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel. They even provide soap and shower gel, which sounds minor but I've been to many other 3 star hotels where no toiletries are provided, not ideal if you forget them. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there is parking to the front, and more parking spaces to the rear of the building, which is free so another bonus. We visit Tynemouth frequently and will definitely re book the Windsor the next time we have a stay over, purely for the overall value the hotel provides, it's location and nice sized light rooms.

The only slight issue was the bed a little uncomfortable but other than that there wasn't any issues

The hotel was better than expected, could see the sea from the front doorstep! Staff were really friendly and welcoming, the room was huge and it had separate bath and shower. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of tea and coffee. We ate breakfast there one morning, we booked this when we arrived and had a rick sheet to pre-order, there were lots of choice from cereal to cooked breakfast and it was really nice.

Literally the only thing my children had feedback on was that there were no hot chocolate sachets!

Lovely hotel, room was massive, bathroom was really smart and a rare hotel that still has a bath which is always nice to see, but a shower too. It was very warm, which at the moment was a very welcome relief. The heating was blaring all night. It was within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, shops and the sea and not very far from the centre either. There was a lounge with a pool table and TV which is also rare to see but great.

Looking a bit tired and could do with a little sprucing. Breakfast was order the night before and get served which I didn't like.

Great location, very freindly staff and dog friendly. Inexpensive accommodation, but in need of complete refubishment.

Still don't understand why we had to pay 45% supplement to take our 2 small well behaved dogs. If we taken our very elderly parents, whom are rather accident prone and liable to dropping things or spilling tea or coffee etc. We wouldn't be charged up front, just incase they have an accident or misshap.

The room was spacious, as was the toilet area. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff without exception were friendly and helpful. Location of hotel is central. Price was towards the modest end of the range - I am a 75 year old widower!

The only downside was that I found the bed a bit hard, but I am a restless sleeper at the best of times. Also I did wonder about the wee bottles of milk provided for breakfast. What happens to all that unused milk? Just a thought.

We had a decent sized room with a lovely view of the lighthouse and tea making facilities. We found the beds comfortable and were pleased to have comfortable chairs to relax in too. We ordered a cooked breakfast on two occasions and this was freshly cooked and served promptly.

The water in the shower was difficult to adjust to cooler but we managed. Two large bath towels provided but only one hand towel. However, this was promptly supplied when asked for.

Staff were helpful and pleasant we had three children with us varying in age from 2 to 8 staff were lovley with the children and helpful to my husband who is disabled. The room was accesible with separate shower although if he had not been able to weight bear the lip would have been 2 high. Excellent breakfast and beautiful meal in Bazil thier attached restraunt .

No ramp into dining room which meant to gain access my husband had to go outside and back in another door. The room that had been allocated to my son and his family was not clean and the other room they were moved to had stained sheets. Although staff promptly corrected things they were also left stained towels . Room servicing was minimal dirty cups not taken away without requesting this
