Riverbank View Three Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking

We were met by the very wonderful host Peter who was very informative about the accommodation, the area and things to see and do. The food supplies that were provided were not only very welcome, but more than enough and very much appreciated. The apartment was very spacious for the 5 of us and lovely to have a small outside rear garden area to have a drink in the early evening sun. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Very quiet despite being near the main road. We didn't travel by car but there is a very useful car park to the front of the property provided. There were fans, extra sheets/duvets & blankets (if required) a few board games and tourist leaflets all provided and a pleasant change to have more than enough toilet roll. I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing we would suggest is a king size bed would have been a better option than the double and the front bedroom could do with a blackout blind as the early morning sun does shine straight through the window.

The apartment was very central and clean, with free parking which was brilliant for the centre of York. The owners were great, they meet us on arrival and showed us how everything worked they also decorated the apartment with banners and balloons for our friends 50th birthday, which was lovely. There was lots of freebies, like milk, biscuits and sweets and a good selection of breakfast items, which was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Peter and Carol

It was really nice for us all, the beds were comfy and everything was sparkling clean. Plenty of towels etc. the table was laid out lovely for us and Peter was very thorough showing us around and welcoming us to York which was a great start to our holiday! We were also very grateful of all the breakfast stuff as we had a long trip so it meant we didn’t need to worry for our first morning. The parking was nice and easy and it was great not having to worry about paying for a car park, everything made our stay very easy! If we come back to York we will definitely choose this place again!

Everything was great

Lot's of things to like about this property, the hosts were extremely helpful sorting out the arrival time and passing on the keys and giving us the details about the property and the local area. The apartment was in great condition, lot's of little extras had been included like bread, milk etc to get you started. Really enjoyable stay, parking was a breeze and walking into town was an very simply 8-10 min walk and straight into the heart of the city. Really good place and will be suggesting to family and friends and will be back!

Not the biggest issue but the beds could be a little more comfortable but other than that it was perfect!

Lovely apartment, like home from home with everything you need with a really homely feel and would definitely come again. Host really helpful and friendly.

It wouldn't stop us coming back but I'd say attention to detail is needed in some areas. The skirting boards were thick with dust in places and the bathroom floor near the bath needed a good clean. This is only constructive criticism as like I say, I'd definitely come back but if the host doesn't know how the cleaner is leaving it nothing will ever change.

Perfect location within walking distance from shops and tourist attractions. If your booked in for anything allow extra time because you will get distracted by something else on the way. So much to do you are spoilt for choice. Accommodation was lovely the owners thought of everything even the little details. We are definitely planning our next visit.

Really didn't find any fault.

Everything was perfect with many little extras we didn't expect such as tea, coffee, milk, chocolate, cereals and even shower/bath products. The location was excellent with a very short walk to the city walls and the old city. Inside the apartment was extremely well equipped and had very nice furnishings and decorations. The host met us in person and explained everything. Overall, we couldn't have found a better place for visiting York.

The double bed mattress could perhaps do with replacing, as it felt like there was a hole in it, but nothing too serious and we still slept well.

The apartment was so well thought out for visitors. The rooms were spacious with 3 good bedrooms. Ladies every bedroom had a hairdryer but only one bedroom had a socket near a mirror. Not a problem when you are with 4 lovely girlfriends who take turns to use it. The hosts were just so lovely and the thought that had gone into breakfast cereals, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee was really appreciated. Thank you Peter and Carol.

5 girls sharing one bathroom was probably the only negative but again we worked out a way to be accommodating to each other. It would not put us off returning.

The chap who met us to hand over the keys was so helpful. We were struggling to find the apartments and he was able to direct us over the phone. There were plenty of provisions left for us in the apartment... Milk, bread, butter, bottled water, tea, coffee, cereals etc which were very welcome! What a great welcome. Thank you for a great stay and for all those little extras...

Everything from check in to check out were excellent. Host contacted us by phoning early to confirm time when we will arrive and to make sure that everything is ok. Excellent host( Peter) very helpful men and great communication skills. Fabulous apartment.3 bedrooms. Quite spacious rooms. Children loved having all of the space. Outside enclosed garden. Loads of added extras. Everything within walking distance. Secured car parking space. Loved our stay. Would love to return in future as it was much better then staying in hotel and paying extra for car park.

There isn't anything I didn't like. Apparent all clean and tidy, everything provided what anyone would possibly need...
