The check in was fantastic, as well as the speed at which we were transferred when there was a major issue with our room. The second room was amazing, and there were absolutely no issues with it. Yes, there is a rather large paragraph about what I didn't like, but that was 100% the first room we were given.

The first room was kind of a joke. I could've handled the fact that the bed was more than a bit creaky, and just didn't feel right. It was when we got in the shower, and what we had originally thought was a mark in the bottom of the tub was actually a crack. We got out of the shower, and called for a new room. To be fair we were given one really quick, but the shower crack should have been noticed the last time the room was cleaned. Also there was a shirt that had likely belonged to a previous guest that had wound up behind the dresser.

The rooms were nice, clean and the beds comfortable. You can tell it's an older hotel but still kept up nicely.

The one room had a kerrig coffee pot, but they coffee left in the room was for a 4 cup coffee pot, so we couldn't make coffee. Then it said ice and vending machine down the way, and they're wasn't any vending machines just the ice machine. The outside walkway to the ice machine really beefed power washed and the area where the vending machine used to be as it was very dirty. The advertisement stated shuttles ran all day but in reality you had to call them rather than just walk to an area to catch one.

So, we stayed at the "Lodge" portion of this property which is directly below the main casino/hotel at the base of a hill. It's an older building (the lodge) but it's in great condition and it's perfect for the price. The staff here is fantastic and it's an extremely quiet area that will help you get a good nights rest. The bed is nice and cushy and the shower will powerwash all of the AZ dust off of you pretty easily.

I don't have any real complaints. Be aware at the rooms in the lodge portion don't have a fridge or microwave if that's important to you. Within my room itself, the satellite TV box crashed and locked up but that's no big deal since the wifi is good enough for non-power user stuff.

I don’t understand why this hotel has a low rating! Everything was wonderful! Comfortable beds, good bedding! Three different-sized pillows to choose from! The bathroom was clean, and the shower was good! A large balcony, which is a big rarity for a hotel. There is a pool. A coffee maker in the room. The downsides are no fridge and microwave. But I stayed for one night, so it was fine for me. I don't know why people write bad reviews! You’re booking a room for $80 and expecting it to be like a 4-5 star hotel! In general, don’t read the bad reviews, the rooms are great! If you don’t mind not having a fridge and microwave in the room, go ahead and book this hotel.

We liked that the second floor rooms have private patio/balcony with chairs & small table. Room was a good size also. Staff were very friendly. We liked the proximity to the casino. The pool was open late, and the jacuzzi works as well!

the beds were old, springs. The springs made noises that were a bit concerning at times, and they were also very stiff. No refrigerator or microwave. We knew that going in so we were prepared for that. Also no elevator that we could see to get to 2nd floor, we had to haul everything up the steps.

Value

The buffet food was a disappointment was surprised as when the reopened post Covid they really made an effort to make it great and did at that time not now. They need to spend some time in getting network connections with the Scottsdale culinary school to train and hire young chiefs who would be willing to move up there near Sedona I know a lot would given the opportunity and pay them their worth to train others. They need to invest in their time to make that happen as this is a special place and they deserve it.

More inexpensive (I stayed at the older, detached Lodge, as opposed to the new inside rooms). The Lodge rooms are very big, it was super quiet, they were very clean (Although sparse). I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t like I had to check in up at the casino, and check out there, but the room was a good deal so it was a worthwhile trade-off. Staff was great

Having to go to a farther location to check in/out. But not that big of a deal.

Comfort, price we're very good. The bed and shower were great. The AC was running and cool when we entered room. Very nice since it was almost 100 degrees when we arrived.

Dead bugs of some sort in the bathroom. Made me wonder a bit if the carpet was vacuumed. No outlet to plug the coffee maker at except the bathroom, floor or night stand. I was just coming from a medical procedure and needed rest badly so I didn't want to take the the time to request housekeeping. Also, had no elevator, would of requested 1st floor otherwise.

The front desk guy Jack provided such excellent customer service. I thought he was a general manager; he just knew what he was doing and was so kind and friendly, and sophisticated at the same time.

The room wasn't as clean as it should have been upon check in, but the housekeeping young lady was quick to remedy and was so very pleasant. They've done a good job as I've been here. It would not deter me from coming back.

We needed a break from the heat. It was clean and the rm was well stocked w/ nice clean towels. Staff friendly. Could've used a light around the table. We just moved the table over in front of the TV so we could see what we were eating...đŸ‘€đŸ•đŸźđŸ°đŸŽ‚đŸ„ź:-P(*_*)

No frig or microwave in our room. Not enough lighting around table.
