Super 8 by Wyndham Cottonwood

Good location, pleasant front desk staff, room was clean. Plentiful parking. Easy to find.

The advertised continental breakfast included only coffee, tea and oatmeal. Oatmeal is not univerally loved although it is healthier than the usual pastry or donut. Since only one person would even consider oatmeal this turned out to be a useless perk for us.

The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating. We were supposed to be on the 2nd floor and when I asked for a first floor room, as it is hard for me to climb stairs. He was able to find us a room on the first floor. Very pleasant and helpful. Very appreciated. The room was as expected . Clean and comfortable. Good for our overnight and close to attractions.

Was very disappointed with the "breakfast ". All that was offered was coffee and a package of instant oatmeal and maybe juice. We went out for breakfast.

The receptionist, Mike, if I remember correctly did a great job welcoming us to the hotel. As he was checking us in he provided all the basic information travelers want to know such as, swimming pool location, ice machine location, check out time, breakfast, parking, room location from front office, WI Fi usage, and operation of key cards to unlock doors. We never had to ask for any of these items as we normally do when traveling to different hotels. This showed me Mike knows what all the customers are looking for when they check in. I asked for a non-smoking room however it seem like the people before smoked in the room and they were unable to get the smell of smoke out of the room. When I checked in Mike gave me a great recommendation for dinner called the Colt Restaurant in the local town I would highly recommend it

I’m sure they did their best by trying to get the smell of smoke out of the room but there was still a hint of smoke throughout the room in the walls etc.

it was clean and had a fridge and bathtub, which are both important to me.

it was modest in quality, no huge expectations from a super 8. the towel bars need repair. one was falling off the wall, the other was already taken off the wall. no continental breakfast as promised. it’s probably due to COVID, but then they should remove it from the deal

Hot tub was great, room was fine, could use an update

Used to be a smoking room, can still smell it, but now its labeled a non smoking

Carol was particularly helpful on walking me through what to do with a mistaken double booking!!

The chain was broken on our door & many cigarette butts surrounding my vehicle in the morning.

The room was very clean

The gentleman that works the front desk came outside as I was walking my dog around and told me no pets are allowed, I explained he’s a service animal. The man bombarded me before I even approached the lobby to check in. Also after getting a key it didn’t work.
