Staff was very friendly during check-in, they took us and all of our bags to our room via golf cart and showed us around the room a bit. Location of our room (501) was close to the pool and back patio overlooked the golf course. It was quiet and I would definitely stay in building 5 again. We really enjoyed the pool as well! The room had been updated a bit, it was clean and comfy. I’d say the living room furniture needs some updating but no complaints. We would stay here again for sure. The neighborhood was quiet and clean and I’d say we were were literally minutes away from everything by car and there are tons of restaurant options nearby. The property is huge so expect to do a lot of walking to get to your car (could be a problem for some people).

Nothing, it was all great.

We were in Bldg #6 which was close to the pool - Yay! and the end of the building away from the pool so no pool noise - Yay! But parking was no where near our building :( After the first day we figured out that if we park where registration is, we can ask for staff to "cart" us to our unit and when we need to go to our car call for them to come pick us up and drive us there. ALL of the staff were super friendly and helpful!!! The size and shape of the pool easily handled the number of people and flotation devices were not a problem (a lot of "noodles" provided by the resort - Yay!) The pool side games provided unexpected fun!

Again, parking was not ideal but gratefully we never had to wait more than a few minutes for our "chariot" to arrive!

The property was beautiful and I loved the surrounding area. The grove was also very nice, both atmosphere and service. I also thought the privacy of each room was great although the balcony gate in between lacked privacy.

The lack of an oven or stove top in the kitchen was a disappointment. Being that it was a full condo type room it was missed. Also we ended up with a broken bed, which broke more each day until it finally was totally broken. It made for one terrible night of sleep as only half of the bed had collapsed at that point and we slept on a decline. Finally by morning the entire thing collapsed (narrowly missing my foot!) so our last night of sleep was much better as the bed was actually level.

The landscaping is so well done it almost makes you forget the blistering blast furnace that is Phoenix in the summer. The rooms are very comfortable, all the amenities we need. The staff is very accommodating. The pool is clean and well kept for those after dark swims because it’s too freakin’ hot to be in the pool during the day. We go to the Mayo every six months and this has become our home away from home after trying several other facilities.

Can’t think of a thing!

The jaw dropping peaceful appearance when I walked in! So clean, so open. And an orange tree outside the patio!

We were in the quiet far end of building 7. We didn't know that parking was so far away. We're both a bit older and with knee issues. The golf cart transportation was really excellent, but we probably ran through over $100 in unplanned, yet well deserved, tips. Thank goodness we had an ATM close by.

The room and size was excellent. Bed very comfortable.

The view from our room…one, the wall on balcony too high. Two a huge tree with a half dead limb blocked view. Room 703. The biggie was NO parking near our room. We had to park in front of registration entrance and wait for golf cart to take us back and forth several times a day and we felt we had to tip each time. The drivers never asked for it…but it was a service. Couch in room needs cleaned. Only half rolls of toilet paper left and about 1/4 roll paper towels. No back up in room.

We had paid for a suite with two double beds and a sofa bed but they repeatedly insisted on taking a room with a king bed

Customer service, I asked for an early check-in message, I wrote to them twice, without an answer They didn't clean the room in a week !

Very clean and quiet. The beds were AMAZING and super comfy. We would find ourselves hanging out on the bed instead of the couch and chairs. It felt like a little bungalow and secluded. I loved having our own private entrance to our room. The room was well taken care of. I loved not having any carpet in the room. Our room didn't have a stuffy smell. We could have totally stayed there longer.

The sink was slow to drain and we couldn’t close one of the blinds all the way. Also I would recommend having some house slippers or flip flops on during the stay because the floors would turn our feet black, or probably just ask housekeeping to come mop floors.

Large clean rooms. Great pool area. Excellent staff. Our bed request was corrected on the 2nd night of our stay. Lindsey at the front desk was very apologetic and handled the situation very professionally. Golf course is in great condition and great for all skill levels.

Restaurant is not open for breakfast and the menus is the same for lunch and dinner. Burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. only.

I'd stayed here before a number of years ago and it was so good that it was always likely I'd stay here again on a future visit. I was pleased to see that all the reasons I like this place still applied. The staff are extremely friendly and it was a great check in experience - they were even happy to check me in a few hours early, which I wasn't expecting. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you have all the information you need. The room was great, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed and everything I needed. The resort has close proximity to a number of shops a few blocks away, making it easy to stock up the kitchen. There were also plenty of towels and toiletries, which is handy as housekeeping is limited due to COVID. On this note, I was impressed with some of the measures taken to prepare the room, particularly cleaning the TV remotes. It feels like they take it seriously, which is not always the case at hotels.

There is not much to fault with this resort. I've now stayed here twice and both times have been exceptional. If I had to nitpick, I'd say limited space at the pool can be an issue - especially during busier seasons. I'd also say that the reduced housekeeping can be an issue with longer stays, but you can request housekeeping if there is anything urgent.
