Sonder at Mill Ave

Condo was amazing and the building had great amenities! Being over Whole Foods was convenient, but there was also great, reasonable restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Central to everything! We didn’t want to leave!

I searched for the check-out directions on the Sonder app and in my email the day before, but it came too late and I missed it. If it could be added to the Sonder app FAQ that would be perfect! The virtual Sonder concierge would have been able to help me so in the future I will use that for questions because they responded quickly.

The location, security, and proximity to Whole Foods. The bed! The closet! All the amenities! I was able to go out with friends and for meetings several times on Mill Avenue and be back in minutes! LOVED the key fobs and the door lock mechanism. I can't wait to come back! It's luxurious and actually felt like home. I shared photos...(headings may not match)

The washing machine had mold or mildew in it and it made my clothes smell like mold, even after washing them TWICE and after drying them. Icemaker in fridge didn't work. TV would not sync to my chromcast apps no matter how many times I tried.

Very nice property with a pool, rooftop area, lounge, and Wholefoods on the 1st level. Sonder Reps are very responsive. Unit has good WIFI.

Booking list this property with a balcony. I assumed that it would by a typical balcony, one you can walk out on, sit and enjoy, but it was a 'Juliet' balcony, a sliding glass door with a railing. Also the bedroom has a very large opening at the top into the living room/kitchen, diminishing privacy. There is no cable TV package, you will only be able to watch what you stream from your device.

The apartment unit is beautiful, with high ceilings and a very spacious kitchen and open living area. There was plenty of space, beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. We enjoyed the pool area, although the water temperature was super cold. The kids still got in briefly because it was a hot day, but I mostly sat in the hot tub. The Whole Foods store downstairs was very convenient for picking up some items for breakfast, and overall location was also very close to ASU campus. We were able to walk to several great restaurants for dinner.

We didn't find pool towels in the unit as we had expected, and their staff does not come on site until the afternoon.

The location and facilities were amazing. It was spacious and having a kitchen and laundry were so beneficial. The app was a great communication tool and staff was very responsive. Property exceeded our expectations. We hadn't rented a car so having the Whole Foods and so much within walking distance was so nice.

Nothing! The only minor inconvenience was being informed the water would be shut off on our last day. We also were short on towels during our stay but were brought more upon request.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The facilities were great. Didn't need the gym, but the pool area was nice. The pool water was freezing!

In my unit, the hairdryer didn't work at all. The owner should replace it. The kitchen trash can didn't work properly, but it wasn't a big deal. Getting into the room was a hassle. It wasn't easy to get the key fob to work and we'd feared we'd be locked out every time we left. Clearer, and more prominent instructions should be presented in the future. May be time to replace the fob or put in a new battery.

Spacious apartment but looked unfinished. Kitchen very well equipped . Salt pepper coffee sugar all cutlery pots . Plates. Big fridge and freezer. Small sofa. Beds were comfortable. Showers too. It was very clean. Downstairs whole foods very convenient. 244 per night is a decent price but we expected more tvs and more convenient check in.

TV only in one room only chromecast. Ice machine didn't work. Blinds were transparent. Not enough lightning in the bedrooms and in the living room. Dimmed lights effect in most of the rooms. Except kitchen and bathrooms. Towels smelled like bleach. Check in and check out is pretty simple but finding the locker for fobs is complicated. Also all the codes etc is complicated. No reception or person on site to help.

The apartment was perfect. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, great location. I felt really safe with all the extra precautions that were taken. The keys from the lock box, a gated parking area, automatic door locks in the room. Whole foods literally right down stairs.

The only thing I did not care for was that our room was on the outside(street facing) and the traffic was really loud at night. People were racing most nights.

The building was amazing sitting on top of a Whole Foods was handy. The room/apartment was very clean and the kitchen had every amenity you could ask for. The towels and toiletries were super nice and the whole apartment was well decorated and very comfortable!

The check in process was extremely confusing in terms of how to get in. They did send a detailed email however you had to first go to a separate location in the garage to obtain two key fobs, one blue and one green. The green one got you in the garage and the blue one worked the elevator and then you had a separate code to type into your room/door. The problem was nobody could separate because without the blue key fob you could not get back up or down the elevator. It made no sense to have only one set of fobs for a room that slept six. It actually made things very difficult during a busy graduation weekend where we had lots of places to be and details to handle.

Great location and value, accessing the property was simple and the directions supplied were great. The amenities, like the dishes & clothes washer/dryer were nice added touches for a short stay business trips. The Whole Foods market on the first floor of the property was also a welcome addition, extremely convenient for a quick business trip with no rental car. Booking was simple and the instructions for accessing the property were well detailed and efficient. Definitely recommending to friends and coworkers.
