Rooms in 300's 310's 200's and 210's have the view in the photos.Rooms 320's 330's have a great, but different view from the photos. Other rooms do not have full, amazing view. Room was large and comfortable. Dog Friendly, with a fee.

The staff could not have been worse. Each encounter was frustrating. Like they thought I called to find out about the difference in rooms just to bother them. Checking in the terms changed and I asked for details, they said I could only get that at checkout. The morning of checkout I got an email with an accounting, I asked the desk if that means I am checked out, they did not understand this basic question. Instead of a BS resort fee, which you could at least use for meals, they now charge a $25/day parking fee, which is just another nickel and dime scheme by corporate hotels.

Breakfast was Great. The hotel gave a food credit of 18.00 per person per day so that was a nice bonus! The main thing is the incredible views on the hotel bar/restaurant patio with firepits and the open balcony from our room overlooking the rocks. Sunsets were spectacular to view right off the balcony. Mark, the bartender was super great. Live music was awesome on the weekends. Concierge was knowledgeable and very friendly.

Do NOT stay on the first floor. We paid the same amount for this room and couldn't see a thing. Guadelupe at the front desk was wonderful and put us on the 3rd floor. (You have to be on the 2nd or 3rd floors to have a room with a balcony that opens to the rocks.) The gym is super tiny. One treadmill and one bike with some scattered freeweights.

The views from the red rock facing rooms are unbelievable! Love the outdoor furniture, it let us be at the hotel but not just stuck in the room! Though the room was great, beds were comfortable! Star gazing in the hot tub, afternoon in the pool was perfect. We liked the idea of the shuttle but we're really glad we had a rental because we visited sites at times when they were slow like early morning and mid afternoon and had no problem parking, though it's very clear that that's rare. For example we walked into Hideaway House (in town) at 2pm for lunch and they had no wait, other guests went at 5 or 6 and had a 3 hr wait, didn't get seated until after sunset and they missed the view. Lounge was efficient, inviting, and lovely. Lounge staff were wonderful, though drinks were overpriced. Loved the live music, too. We didn't bring our pet but loved the board welcoming them with water. We loved watching sunrise from the short trail/nature area across the street from the entrance. We will be back and staying at Sky Rock again!

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the negative reviews on Booking are very much unfounded in my opinion, however, I went during winter and prices were perhaps lower so that the perceived value for me was l higher. I’m glad I didn’t listen to them and stayed at SkyRock. I really enjoyed this great hotel, good sized rooms, very warm, comfortable and ambient. Food and amenities were very good, everything worked, staff were very helpful, great bar/lounge with stunning views over the snow covered mountains. Lots of attention to detail and I felt that the hotel wanted guests to unwind and enjoy themselves. I enjoyed it so much that I even extended my stay. Would highly recommend SkyRock for a stay in Sedona.

location to uptown Sedona even by foot

I wish people at the counter be more friendly. They look like they do the job because they have to do it. I was a solo traveler and a woman, and I didn’t feel any comfort talking to neither one of them. they don’t put their heart into what they do and you feel it. I felt that my questions was always bothering them. One of the employee was typing on her computer looking at me with a fake smile probably thinking what does she want again . Why I was asking question she didn’t even look at me. I think it’s rude, especially in this job of service. Otherwise, no complain about the hotel .

great views from the room patio, and the main lobby patio. The room was nice, somewhat dated, but was OK. Breakfast we did not have at the hotel, but they always had coffee and some type of fruit water in the lobby, for transport we drove ourselves sometimes, and also used the hotel shuttle service which was a nice alternative if you did not want to drive.

downside was there was construction going on at the hotel while we were there, but it was not bad

Tons of outdoor seating areas. Some with fire pits. Great views of the red rocks from everywhere. Good breakfast spread. Easy access to the pool.

On arrival we were put in a very shabby room that had a direct view of the garbage dumpster with garbage overflowing. It was awful. The following morning we asked for a better room and were given a very nice room.

The hotel has great views of the red rock mountains and the decor ties in with the Indian culture in the area.

I booked the breakfast included option, however the room credit was just less than the cheapest breakfast option for two guests. I did not see that the breakfast was only a credit amount allocated to each room when I booked.

lobby and deck area recently updated - new finishes are beautiful. Amazing views. Very friendly staff members.

The fire pit was non operational during our stay, we were told it was likely out of propane. While this is a minor inconvenience, it was disappointing for some of the facilities to be non function given the price point for this resort.

The view from the rooms was incredible! We enjoyed the bar area with the indoor/outdoor seating. Love that they have multiple fire pits to enjoy the beautiful weather. Also the coffee/tea service was put out early enough for super early risers, which was much appreciated. Loved the hotel offered a shuttle service to most of the area, that was super convenient!! Also, the hotel texted regularly about events/services/live music to keep us informed, that was so helpful. The hotel was actually part of our trip verses just being somewhere to stay!
