Had a pool and hot tub and a pa Illini area at the other end (for a small wedding?). Had a room with a creek view and balcony on the first floor (not sure they all do). Decent parking. The bed was comfortable, the room clean with a Keurig and a couple of k cups. I was able to make tea that I brought with me too. Hair dryer, mini fridge and office chair and desk. No microwave in the room but there was one in the lobby along with an ice machine. AC set at 70 kept up with day time temps above 100. Lots of the basic amenities. I’d call it an upscale Motel. Didn’t cost a ton more than less well kept up motels in the area. Located at the last round about in your way to uptown Sedona shops and eats, probably a 5 minute walk up hill. Walking would be preferable to driving in weekend congested traffic.

The stairs outside and down to the creek were a series of many very rustic railroad ties placed very steeply. There was a hand rail on both sides but I elected to stop after about 15 steps (I think there are 80 steps winding all the way down) because my balance is poor. It’s not obvious how difficult they are until you look at them up close. But an able bodied person in the spring and fall could surely navigate ok. Wi-Fi was a little spotty, tv not Bluetooth enabled.

Cedar's has amazing views from second floor balcony overlooking juniper and the Red Rocks of Sedona. We were directly in front of Snoopy Rock and the House of the 7 Arches. The sunrise was a view to behold. We left the sliding door open at night and heard the sound of nature and the sound of Oak Creek 75 steps below. It was centrally located to shops and restaurants. We visited the hot tub each night of our 2 night stay. They also had a small pool downstairs. Staff was friendly and ready to assist.

As we are a 60 yr old couple that came to celebrate our anniversary, I would not call Cedar's a resort. We had stairs to climb and drag our luggage up and there was no elevator. The rooms were older model, reminiscent of a 70s motel and the bathroom and tub was small with a vanity sink when you walked in the room. The ice machine and microwave was a walk to the front office lobby and small amount of parking space.

We traveled in May 6th until 9th. Weather was perfect! I arrived at 9:30is pm after my long drive from Phx to Sedona ok, Received a called from Alkrizzia becused I forgot to mentioned I was arriving late and let me tell you she waited for me instead of me just looking for a key. Plus I was tired, hungry, cranky all of the above. But, I loved everything from begining to end. Alkrizzia was so nice, she was excellent, Never ever I had such an excellent costumer service and I didn't want to hear what she had to say, I was tired I was done and was not her fault but because of my long day but I said to my self, she waited for me so the least I can do is hear what she has to say and honestly I am so happy I did, ( Alkrizzia you should have your own tour agency). She took her time even tho it was her time to go home to show me a full map, the most to go places and she explained them all, time we needed to get there, what to avoid, where to eat, the best hiking places (lots) of them and her passion talking about them made my heart melt. It's hard to find young people now days that love the outdoors. She made our experienced worth in Sedona and in the Hotel. My room was 314 and OMGGGGG the view was amazing, the sunrise with birds singing, the water stream it was really magical, they have stairs that go down the creek with some chairs to hang out and maybe have a romantic picnic, pool was cool and clean but they have a hot tub ufortunately didn't use them I was to busy visiting the places she recommended and thats exactly what I wanted especially for my long over due honey moon. Most places were walking distance Didn't need the car in most days. Free shuttle to hiking places. Drink water is not a joke. Than you Alkrizzia so much for making my experience so lovely.

Cedar Resort was perfect for my stay, but the traffic and most stores close super early, time change can be something, No ubers but didn't need one.

The view! And, the jacuzzi had a great view too. Access to the creek was also amazing. This is not a luxury style resort so don’t go into thinking that. If you’re going on vacation to get pampered in the hotel I would choose another hotel. Go into booking the Cedars Resort it knowing it’s comfortable, safe and in a good spot for access to everything (trails, restaurants, shopping, etc.) - plus has a great view! The staff were helpful and very enjoyable to interact with. Bonus info- Lacuna Kava Bar across the street was a really unique experience. Wildflower across the street is also a good place to stop for a casual grab and go style meal. And, for a fancy night I highly recommend Cress on Oak Creek which is directly nextdoor to cedars resort in the L’aburge Hotel or Cuccina Rusitca which is about a ten minute drive.

There was no Microwave in the room and they offered a lot of microwaveable foods in the lobby (which did have a microwave but closed at 10pm.)

The room has everything you need for a short stay where you are doing activities during the day: a clean shower and a comfy bed. There is also a TV and a mini fridge. Parking is easy and on-site. The location is excellent and close proximity to so much of what Sedona has to offer. The balcony had beautiful views and was the main place we hung out during our stay.

The room was pretty basic, but had what we needed. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room itself.

The garden area was so nice! It has a creek below that you can hear and take a walk down there too. The pool was under some repairs, but could easily work around that. Loved the location. The patio we had was a nice bonus, even though it faced the parking lot, but better than facing the road. Other rooms had a view of the mountains and the creek below, just not ours. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Would definitely recommend this to others.

I was so happy with my stay here. The location is fantastic and the view from the pool area alone makes it worth the stay - even if you get one of the rooms without 'a view'. The staff were friendly and accommodating - price matching me an extra nights stay when I needed one. The private access to oak creek made for a beautiful spot to sit in the morning and I would be very happy to stay again.

Excellent location, right in the thick of things! Great coffee shops, exquisite dining, lots of shops (including a liquor store!) just steps from the hotel. However, if you’ve booked a Canyon-view room, you’ll hear nothing but Oak Creek from your room/balcony. There is a convenient path down to Oak Creek, complete with intimate seating areas that connects to a hiking/walking trail. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. As we were checking out, we asked the front desk about where to buy a small cooler nearby. In answer, they actually gave us a Styrofoam cooler that a previous guest had left behind! (Before leaving Sedona, we returned the cooler for future guests)

I am hard-pressed to find some thing that I didn’t like about this property… The only possible issue is that because traffic is so thick in front of the hotel on weekends, it can be a little tricky to get in and out of the parking lot. But as long as you are in the correct lane, you should have no problems.

The room was well maintained and had a nice balcony with a gorgeous direct view of Snoopy Mt, and the creek. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice and overlooked the nature area as well. Location was an easy walk to Uptown & Tlaquepaque craft village, restaurants etc so you could just park at the hotel's lot and walk.

The AC was very noisy and there was some sort of vibration in the upper floor of the suites which was causing a lot of rattling (like machinery noise). The pool deck was extremely splintery (though the pool and hot tub were in great condition! Just wear flip flops while there). The advertised fitness area was just a couple of pelotons and dumbells- though to be fair you're likely hiking if you're in Sedona and not using a gym!

Great location. Able to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Beautiful views from the balcony and hot tub / pool area. Clean and somewhat updated room.

We only received housekeeping services on 1 day of the 4 days we spent there. It’s a bit annoying having to pay a resort fee on top of the nightly rate all while not receiving housekeeping services. Bathrooms could be updated as well. Heater for the pool would be a great addition to the property.
