Star Motel

Star Motel has a stellar location! I the rooms where comfortable and had all the basic necessities fulfill! I do feel the price was a little high, however, it might be the season chosen for travel! we were comfortable, and it was very easy to walk around town! the only thing I was not very pleased with was the tv didn’t work to well (the signal was always buffering) but in reality, you don’t go to Sedona to stay in your hotel! so it was ok! thank you!!

The Star Motel is a cute little renovated motel right in the heart of Sedona. We loved that we had a parking spot so we could just stroll to dinner and drinks in uptown. The room is spare and simple, but all you need—and for Sedona, a bargain! Views of the red rocks right outside the door. I would definitely use this as a base for hiking adventures again.

The bathroom was a bit small—but the shower was strong, and everything was perfectly serviceable.

I liked that this hotel is near a few trails, many restaurants and shops and you can walk to it all. The room was clean. There was a couple cobwebs in the corners but bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was fairly clean. A little outdated but no real complaints. It was exactly what we needed which was a clean bed to sleep on and a place to shower. It’s simple and we liked it. It was quiet at night.

After taking a shower, there was a mildew smell. The faucet dripped in the bathroom. There were a couple of spiderwebs in the corner but other than that it was great.

The decor of the lobby was lovely, as were the furnishings in the rooms. The facilities were very clean, & everything had a quaint cozy feel to it. As far as location, it can't be beat. I did a lot of price matching of hotels in the area, & Star is incredible value for price. It far exceeds what comes to mind when you think of a typical 'motel'. Would recommend it to anyone.

Location was excellent. We were able to walk most of the area, easily. Staff was responsive to email requests.

It could get loud during the day. It was pricey. Had to request coffee packets (Starbucks Via) for the rest of our 5 day stay. They were very responsive and provided us with 3 more days of them.

Such an awesome little spot. Very simple But had everything we needed. We had been camping but it got too cold for our son so we grabbed this place on a whim. Loved the beds and the amenities were very nice. Love a boutique motel🤎

We couldn’t find the remote. But it was okay 🙂

Great location in Uptown Sedona. Able to walk to trailhead of amazing hikes.

The price is high for what it is - it is a motel with no amenities and they do not provide daily housekeeping.

Refrigerator made a humming noises had to unplug it at night and no coffee cups to use to make coffee the only downside about it but that's it would recommend and stay there again

Great location with parking on the main road in Sedona, rooms are really accessible, everything was there all that I needed for my stay. Clean, nice refrigerator and a very pleasant atmosphere.

There was an issue with the code so there was some delay before I could enter the room.

Best part is that it was in the heart of the city, so we could just walk to most of the shops and other places. First time I've stayed in a place that had a handheld shower head (metal, not cheap plastic) and I've stayed in several resorts. Close parking, attractive facility, friendly staff, cozy, beautiful views from the door or windows, etc. I read the reviews and saw a lot of complaints about it being an old motel. It was built in the 50's and it doesn't even seem like it, felt so modern. I don't think some people do their research, so thats why they complain afterwards. Yeah, this might not be a fancy place being in Sedona but its a nice place and simple. I will highly recommend it to people and will plan to stay there anytime I go to Sedona, its my spot to go anytime I'm visiting that area. Thanks to the friendly staff and for this motel making my vacation weekend enjoyable!!!

That I only stayed a night, I didn't want to go back home. No complaints about this place...
