Castle Inn and Suites

we are from San Diego so we drove up (95 minutes) and our daughter and her partner came down from LA so they could take us to the Disney parks. Castle Inn & Suites gave us 2 attached bedrooms and one shared bathroom, which was fine for the night we shared the suite (my husband and i were there by ourselves the first night). it had a fridge and microwave and enough table space for our things. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the front desk supplied us with 2 extra blankets because they were using double sheeting with a very thin blanket, for ease of sanitizing during Covid. Every front-desk employee was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, giving us great directions and answering all questions well. We were able to keep our cars at the property for a few hours after checkout, since their lot was not completely full that day - what a nice perk for us, since we walked to the parks and Downtown Disney each day. We certainly would book here again!

we resolved the blanket problem, thanks to the kind front desk folks. no problems at all! Now that you mention it, one Booking.com problem was that the rate listed for our 2 days was in the $500's for an early 2022 special. But it actually turned into a bit of a bait-and-switch when we confirmed booking because it went up to the high $600's. this seemed to happen when we confirmed booking on your app. it would be good to hear from you about this.

Very good location 10-15 minutes walk from the entrance to Disneyland. We chose this hotel because we could book a suite which was cheaper than two individual rooms. Plenty of parking and we were able to book an electric scooter for my wife to use for the 5 days we were there and take into theme parks. This saved about 50% of the price if we had booked it from the parks themselves - an excellent addition.

Rooms are fairly basic but we were out most of the day anyway. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean.

Pros: Comfortable bed, extra pillows in the closet, friendly front desk staff. 5-10 min walk to security at Disneyland. Safe area. Within a few minutes of 7/11 to get snacks. You can also get snacks at the gift shop in there.

Cons: It's a one star hotel, and your room faces a parking lot. You may hear noise from other guests. That is to be expected. I stayed in a suite and my bed was farther back, so I didn't hear too much parking lot noise, but I heard noise through the back window from other rooms. Not a deal breaker, just pointing it out.

Very close to Disneyland (10-15 minute walk) and very close to the House of Blues Anaheim (5-10 minute walk).

Old property. Needs a facelift.

I chose this motel because so many reviewers said they were allowed to stay parked after check out to go to the park the next day. They don’t allow this anymore. It was never their official policy. I can’t fault them for it, but I don’t want anyone else to chose them solely based on that like I did. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and decor of the room. It’s gotten an update since they last published pics online. Proximity to the park can’t be beat!

I wish they’d update their description/policies by saying you must remove your car after check out.

Pool,HotTub,& Laundry services

Staff was very friendly and accommodating.It was nice that they have laundry facilities,& right next to the pool"Genius"Grandkids and I swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub while waiting for our clothes to get done....The price to stay is reasonable, and I couldnt have been more pleased...It was also quiet and peaceful,whole place is lit up with lights at night. I felt comfortable and would definitely go back. Thanks to the Castle Inn Staff,maintenance and folks who cleaned the rooms. You made us feel welcomed & We felt Safe! Until next time...🥂

close proximity to parks and great space for our family of 5

it’s definitely dated but we didn’t mind we were only there to sleep

The rooms are well kept and clean; the beds are extremely comfortable! But hands down, this hotel has the best staff of any place I’ve ever stayed! They are so incredibly kind and welcoming. Our trip to Disneyland was cut short when my husband got the stomach flu at the theme park. We decided to go back another date, and when we called to make reservations, they remembered us and asked how my husband was feeling. I was incredibly touched and it left an impression on me I won’t forget. When we went back, they were equally as thoughtful and made great suggestions for our stay. We will return here every time we visit Disneyland because of their staff…kindness goes a long way!

I loved how clean and open the room was. The hotel itself was beautiful and very clean. Very close to Disneyland and convenient, close to many shops and stores as well. The shower pressure was absolutely amazing definitely great after a long day walking around Disneyland all day! I will definitely be staying there again!

great location for walking to Disney parks large car park - with free parking very warm welcome by staff during check in large rooms - nice family suite with separate bedroom prebooked rates felt good value given location
