Location is good. Close to a restaurant we used. Close to several gas stations.

A few street people outside, but I noticed a Security Person outside in the morning. The property is aging a bit. The breakfast is so HoHum. Can we have Fresh Fruit? Not over-ripe bananas, or tired apples? How about some whole wheat or whole grain muffins and better bread. Everything is Cake’y white flour muffins, bread, pancakes. In todays day and age, we should be eating healthier food. (My opinion).

Room was very clean. Staff was very helpful, quick, and efficient. I was given two key cards to my room. One worked and the other didn’t. This was quickly resolved after talking to the receptionist. The breakfast was the usual stuff you’d expect.

The location of the AC unit was immediately next to the desk area in my room, so I couldn’t sit at the desk while the AC was on. The AC unit was also very loud. The refrigerator would also hum in the background so it never really was quiet in the room. But in the middle of the night the hum of the refrigerator was suddenly really loud. I don’t know what made it do that but I woke up opened and close the fridge and it returned to its usual low humming. Kinda expensive for a single night.

From the very beginning, Shawna was super helpful as our trip required an extra night's stay. She recommended that I keep calling back to check for cancellations. When we arrived on our first night to check in, Alicia was amazing at finding us a reservation for the extra night that we required. It was a simple step of checking out and then checking back in. She even made it so we could stay in our same rooms. We had to leave before 6 AM our first day, but were able to grab some food from the breakfast room each of the next 3 days that we were there. The Make-Your-Own waffles were awesome. There was coffee available around the clock which was a great benefit. The rooms were clean and organized. The mini-fridge was larger than we expected, so that was a bonus. The microwave was clean and easy to use (once I plugged it in). The bathroom was clean and the towels were fresh and fluffed. The beds were comfortable with 4 pillows on each bed which was great. We were able to control the thermostat ourselves and were able to make the room comfortable. DirectTV was a bonus even though we didn't really watch much TV. Indoor hallways were nice to have as well. The front lobby sitting area was a nice spot to retreat. The fitness center had enough machines to get the job done. The cable machine was functional and nice to have. There were slamballs available, too.

There were some noisy neighbors, but that wasn't within the ability of the hotel-workers to control. I wish there was a fan in the Fitness Center. That would have helped circulate the air and not have it be as stinky. There was only one luggage cart. It would have been nice to have at least one more. We were there for an extended time and it would have been nice to have access to a coin-operated washer/dryer.

Where do I start. I was there for the State Wrestling tournament. I booked on booking.com and accidentally booked 2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights. This is on a weekend where just about everywhere is sold out! Alicia the employee that helped me out understood the situation that I was in and some how on this busy week/weekend, she managed to fix my error and got my situation back to normal. She was great! The breakfast that was included was very good. And so was the coffee :) The rooms were really nice and clean. All the employees that I encountered had a smile on their face, and would say hello, good morning, etc. Very welcoming. The next day when we were home, we realized that my son had forgot his Warm up jacket, and phone charger in the room. We thought to call the Hotel to ask if they had found our items. Sure enough they did, and kept it up front while we went back to get the items. The staff there is amazing and helpful. Lastly, it is close to the freeway, near downtown, and near a lot of good food! I highly recommend this Hotel if you're ever in Bakersfield. JG Fresno CA.

Jose at the front desk was extremely helpful when I called the day before our arrival with numerous questions. Breakfast was quite good.

We had four crickets in our bathroom in checkin - possibly came in thru bath drain! We had to dispose of them .

We’ve stayed here before, and before covid of course. Other than not having the breakfast experience like before it was as expected. Breakfast was ok our first morning which was on a Friday but by Saturday just too many people and too long of a wait, coffee had ran out as well, so we went elsewhere. Got up too late on Sunday to see how it went, but again just went elsewhere. We requested the room cleaned up each day and that was done well. Otherwise it was a great stay. Hopefully when things open up again fully and we’re back in October for Hot Rod Reunion things will be back to normal.

same vicinity of the Chinese restaurant that looks unkept. parking is tight when entering the property. too much traffic in the parking area.

It was very nice, the breakfast surprisingly was very good. Reminds me of restaurant quality food. I'll give it a 7.5/10. Staff were good and very helpful. I'll give them a 10/10

The shower controls in the 2 rooms (2 different nights over the course of a week) we stayed in were difficult to adjust.

Their breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Room clean.

I was worried about safety. The hotel was right next to a restaurant. They seemed to share parking too. I checked the crime rate also. The location did jot look good. BUT nothing bad happened on our trip, and I also saw security guards in the hotel, which made me feel a little better.
