Desk staff was very attentive and responsive. Room was within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants. Folded towel-swans were a fun welcoming touch. Appreciated the free parking in California.

I didn't realize until I was checking out that there were breakfast options/snacks in the office. Not that I wouldn't have gone to a restaurant for a full breakfast anyway, but it would have been nice to have had it pointed out upon check-in that there were snacks available (if they were complimentary-not sure). Kind of expensive, but that's California.

We did not eat at the inn, we enjoyed the short walk to town and the beach daily. It was quiet, very clean and satisfactorily appointed. We did not use the TV or microwave so can't comment, the fridge and sink area were perfect for our needs. We did not bring a pet, but loved that others did and how accommodating the inn was.

We felt we had good value for the money overall, though a bit pricey. Car parking was tight, but understand there isn't much to be done about it.

We had a suite with a king size bed. The bedroom was separate from the rest of the suite. The mattress was very comfortable. There were 2 bathroom sinks on one the bathroom and one outside the bathroom. The living room had a comfortable couch, microwave, refrigerator, and sink with plenty of counter space for food prep. Lots of cabinet space for all your cooking gear. There is a small dinning table with 2 chairs, a desk and tv. Great for an extended stay we’re you can cook meals to save money.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Coffee and small pastries and fruit were available all day and the coffee was very appreciated. It was also nice to have a small "kitchen" in the room, especially when traveling by car. While we did not travel with a dog, dogs are welcome there and there was even a small dog exercise area.

It was a little noisy the first night but that was probably because alot of folks were there for the large graduation at Cal Poly.

No breakfast, office doesn’t open until 8am, so you can’t get better coffee or fruit. Wolfgang Puck coffee is terrible

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and had brand new carpet that is super soft. Breakfast danish was very good.

Been staying her for a few years whenever we come to the area. The beds are not the most comfortable but much better than the overpriced hotels in same area. The coffee was not very good. Wish they had more parking and better walkways. Rooms should have ceiling fans too. Was hotter this year than last and the room was pretty warm. Air conditioner worked good but was in front room and didn't do much to cool the front room. Supper glad we brought our portable fan or sleeping would have been difficult.

definitely was clean, the beds were really comfortable and a great setup and location and easy to get to and from places

the main downfall was that i booked through booking and changed the nights of my stay and lost money on the overall booking :/ and the property couldn’t pay it back because it was through booking and bookings rules didn’t end up giving me money back so it was a bit more expensive than i would have liked

Everything was great. All staff except the man who worked at the reception when we checked in were more than friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, lots of room for all 4 of us and our 2 dogs. Breakfast area is in the lobby and guests are welcome to fruit, pastries, muffins and nespresso coffee as long as the office was open.

The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star rating is the one guy who worked at the front desk. He was on the phone when we walked in and we waited until he was done. Then he had a really bad attitude when we asked to use a different credit card said “No! Prepay only!” I said we had not paid and would like to use a different card. He insisted it was “Prepaid”. So instead of arguing with him, we used a different card for payment and showed him our booking.com confirmation. He grudgingly swiped the card but noted on our receipt:” Woman very rude, is has no mercy”. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding because his English is not very good. And because he was the first person that greeted us, it did not make a great impression.

This is a great place for families or people with dogs. They recently redid the rooms, which are now well-appointed, comfortable and fairly quiet. There are areas for walking and bathing the dog, a great amenity after a trip to the beach, which is a couple of short blocks from the hotel. The restaurants and shops are all up and down the street and short walk away.

Recliner in our room. I have a bad back and it was very helpful. There was several charging stations which was great. Large room with windows for cross breeze.

Dogs. One pooped on our sidewalk on our way to our car. Dog barked all afternoon on our first day. When the toilet flushed above us we heard a loud gushing sound. Not enough coffee in room. A little to far away from city center for us too walk. We did it once, but then drove. Only one dining chair. Had to bring over the desk chair.
