Loved the pastries and the quiches every day . . . except the last day! You have excellent granola, and your berries are to die for!! ;-) Ate our breakfast each morning on our lanai, just outside our room. Location next to the pier made it easy for my husband to push my wheelchair out to watch the stunning sunsets.

On the last day the waffles were tasteless and doughy, and the quiche didn't have the yummy flavor of the previous days. :-( We were VERY disappointed about that, but glad to have more of the delicious berries. The biggest disappointment was to be the room just under the fire pit/smoking area. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and we had to close our window every time someone came out and lit up. :-(

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the property was clean, and we enjoyed having our breakfast delivered to our room, and the time we requested! After a very busy month, it was a great place be able to relax, hear the ocean waves, drink wine in the afternoon, and enjoy the delicious fresh baked cookies.

We loved everything about our visit.

While Cayucos is a typical beach community (but without surf shops etc), our B&B was a delight. Since we had a street side room on the second floor, we spent most of our time on the rooftop deck with a great ocean view, which we reached from the second floor not far from our room. The deck has an outdoor gas firepit, and comfortable seating. Happy hour was really just a glass of free California red or white wine, no snacks, but the breakfast more than made up for it. Even though it was a to-go breakfast, it was fresh cooked each morning, a delicious quiche and fresh fruit one morning. We also appreciated the high-end bedding, towels, and toiletries in our spacious room, much larger than the places we had stayed in Half Moon Bay and Carmel.

Hotel was great. Not much to do in the town, but then we're not ones to sit on the beach.

What a beautiful location, right on the seaside! The owners are so incredibly nice and constantly looking to make your stay the best you have ever had. Rooms are every spacious and ours had an amazing view over the ocean. What an amazing stay, we did regret we decided to only stay for 1 night!

The only thing I didn't like is the fact we decided to leave after 1 night... I would have loved to stay here for a couple more and enjoy the beach and the great vibe of the small town of Cayucos

The staff. Though I think you should have someone there at night to greet your guests and in case there is a problem.

Maintenance. Caulking in bathroom. Shower curtain doesn’t cover the whole span of the tub/shower. Carpet worn. Upholstery worn on arm chair. Wall heater has a worn bearing. hand rail at the bottom of the ramp is broken off and lying on the ground. Lids for the Paper cups in the lobby don’t fit properly and constantly pop off.

Delicious breakfast, great happy hour with local wine/beer offering, friendly staff, and convenient location to explore the area while also having easy beach access. Room was clean with extra sitting area. Fireplace would be nice in colder months.

The room got a little stuffy at night since there wasn't a way to circulate outside air without keeping the balcony door open (which I wouldn't do in a 1st floor room). There was some street noise that woke me up a few times (e.g. cars revving engines and squealing tires at 2am, which seemed out of place in this tiny beach community).

Probably our favorite was room size/elegance, including sheets and towels and shower and my husband even loved the shampoo. Quiet and antique stores and restaurants near by were added attractions.

Everything was GREAT, except the breakfast was below expectation. Although it was hot and delivered timely, it was unsatisfactory compared to rest. The sun deck could use a little help, but it was fine for us.

Outstanding place. The view, the breakfast, friendly staff all were exceptional ❤️❤️. They even serve wine, beer or soda at 5:00. We had our wine up on the rooftop balcony overlooking the ocean. They even have blankets and a fire pit up there. Such an accommodating place. It’s now our most favorite place on the central coast.

The fruit at breakfast was old but other than that food was very good.

The complimentary breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel. It was fresh, hot, tasty and filling. The location of this hotel was perfectly located with a nice view of the beach. But with the doors closed, my room was still quiet and I did not hear the beach goers or any traffic from outside. Room was clean, nicely furnished and very roomy. The fireplace created warmth and a nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the Cayucos or Morro Bay area.

A mattress topper would have made the bed more comfortable. Not much more to improve my stay.

Big rooms, very comfortable beds (beautiful bed linen), balconies (some rooms with sea frontage), traditional feel, fireplaces

Breakfast was nice but served in takeaway containers ... I think the pandemic is at a stage now where ceramic plates and metal cutlery are acceptable! Similarly, happy hour was served in very cheap plastic/throw-away cups when the hotel has glassware available in the communal areas?! Rooms are now a bit tired/old in places but overall the place is well maintained and clean.
