The breakfast was delicious, the customer service from the staff was awesome, and the room was very comfortable and clean. They also deliver fresh baked cookies to your room every night :-). It's about a 7 min walk from the beach, and within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. I'd definitely stay here again!

The tub was a bit slippery and could have used one of those anti-slip pads. Other than that, very comfortable and clean room!

it is conveniently located within walking distance of food, shops, and the beach. the daily breakfast service was great. The bed was comfortable.

We didn’t realize that they have different rooms and we were in a room on the lower back corner of the building. when booking, there were no options to select different rooms. it was a nice room but lacked a sitting area or patio like the other rooms. it would’ve been nice to be able to spend time out on a patio/balcony as the weather was perfect for that. we made due by sitting in the dining room with the doors open to the outside but there were no other common areas to be able to enjoy the weather unless you count a patch with some patio chairs in the back corner of the parking lot, which was occupied by people that had rooms with balconies and patios.

Lovely warm place to stop in a sweet town. The ocean is just a few steps away, and there are many places to visit while you're there - try the brown butter cookies, check out the antiques, or go in to the larger towns for more. The hotel itself was welcoming, my room lovely, really appreciated the access and having a fireplace to break the chill in the evening. Oh! And the gluten free cookies in the evening, and breakfast menu were wonderful - thank you for the extra effort!

I gave this stay to my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. I did not stay there but visited their room. Room was large,amazing, comfortable and cozy and welcoming. They loved their room, the extra large bathroom and tub, and the fireplace. They even had a small patio as their room was on first floor. They said that both breakfasts were delicious and the cookies hanging on their doorknob was an extra nice touch.

Everything was more than perfect. I had no idea this beautiful place existed in the small town of Cayucos.

very clean, enjoyed fall decor and attention to details, reverse osmosis water tap was very nice for drinking. Breakfast was wonderful, fruit very fresh, quiche and baked goods were delicious

just a few suggestions-tea in room would be nice in addition to the coffee, a better system to deliver hot water without wasting so much before it warms up, more hooks to hang up clothes, towels

Beautiful property! So cozy and whimsical… staff was super friendly and accommodating! Cookies hung on the door after check in was top notch!

TV in room was a little small.. but I just can’t see far away. Jets in tub didn’t work and sadly that was a selling point when I booked.

Dear Lord where do I start. The room was AWESOME! I felt very safe. The parking is ideal. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS! And I saved the best for last....THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL, KIND, CHEERFUL, AND AMAZING! They are what will bring me back.

The TV was exceptional dark and the tub had recently been used with some sort of body oil. Nothing that was their fault, but definitely needs to be addressed.

Location is within walking distance of beach. The staff is amazing and the breakfast was served exactly at the time we selected. It was just an amazing little gem.

Wish there was more coffee available during the evening.

The innkeeper and staff were amazing. The room was very clean and well appointed. The location was right in town and very walkable to coffee, restaurants, the pier and beach.

Everything was perfect. I will definately be back we stayed in a beautiful room #4 the cheese platter was delicious and the breakfast was outstanding! Thank you so much
