nice and quiet, feels very private. outdoor space was a nice touch, we enjoyed sitting outside and having dinner. grill was good for cooking dinner. jacuzzi was great after a long day of hiking at Yosemite. bed was comfortable. room was very spacious and clean. light breakfast also provided.

outdoor kitchen can be more well equipped. lacks knife and chopping board, no condiments only oil, salt and pepper. be prepared to bring your own condiments. more than sufficient to cook simple meal but would be tough to cook anything too elaborate.

We had two wonderful days at Red Tail Ranch. Yosemite Park itself was closed, but we still spent an unforgettable day at the accommodation. We took a great walk on the gorgeous property and enjoyed the afternoon in the hot tub. The hosts were so friendly and took super care of us and our stay. The decor was great and everything was there that you would need. The cereal for breakfast was delicious. One of the best days during our USA trip.

I did write to the owner prior to arriving with questions but did not receive a reply although a text number was provided upon arrival and she responded promptly on that. Not sure why?

Red Tail ranch is very special and will appeal to those seeking splendid isolation among gorgeous hilly meadows but with creature comforts. Great gateway location for Yosemite and the beautiful surrounds. Bed was very comfy, very well appointed and equipped room.

The Red Tail Ranch is conveniently located to Yosemite National Park. Groveland has several dining and gas options available. Breakfasts were homemade and deliciously gourmet. Our room and our adjoining bathroom had all the amenities we needed. The Ranch has several outdoor seating areas available for relaxing at the end of the day. The California acorn woodpeckers and humming birds were fascinating to watch. We appreciated a friendly hello from Barkley. Deborah and Kevin are very familiar with Yosemite and provided very helpful tips about what to see, where to go, and how to participate in the activities the Park has to offer. We understand why Deborah and Kevin have received numerous awards for their Red Tail Ranch B&B and we enthusiastically agree.

The room was very well appointed, quiet and relaxing. The location of the ranch was ideal for our 2 day visit to Yosemite National Park, but also a lovely getaway all on its own.

The Red tail ranch B&B is everything you wish and hope for. Gorgeous location, with stunning views, stars at night and the silence of nature. Very nice room and bathroom, lovely patio and lots of privacy. Best breakfast we had in years. Not to mention the perfect location for a visit to Yosemite, 25 minutes to the entry, an hour to Yosemite Valley. With breathtaking views all around. But the real secret of the Red tail ranch is the people who run it, and the love, care and detail they put in their work. Deborah and Kevin, thank you so much for making us feel at home from the first moment. It was so nice to meet you and talk to you both. Our stay with you was the highlight of our road trip in Northern California, and we hope to be back again next year.

Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful.

If all available rooms are booked, I would advise that the setting is shared and not as private as I had hoped. No microwave and no TV.

It's hard to start this because I feel like I'd be missing elements of the stay. Ideally I would have GoProed everything and posted that so people can really witness the beauty and hospitality of Red Tail Rach. My wife and I were greeted by Deborah, her two dogs and information of a bear sighting that we just missed by about 3 minutes. Already we were in love. The property is gorgeous, our room was perfect and everything else in our trip followed suit. We later met Kevin and had a beer with him while Deborah finished the ribs he started but forgot about. Great conversation, good beer, helpful advice about the park, what more could you need? The answer is breakfast, which Deborah cooks fresh every morning. It is the only way your day should start, I'd recommend getting there at 7:30 am, grabbing your coffee and sitting outside in the sun as Sophie (one of the dogs) lounges by your side. Now back to the breakfast, it's delicious, varied and so well-thought out. I couldn't say enough good things about it...don't sleep in! We were lucky enough to meet so many interesting people during our stay, shout out to Jeff and Pat, Alex and Taylor plus Kevin and Deborah's neighbor Robb and his son Noah. This enriched our stay beyond belief and helped me realize something I hadn't considered before. The B&B concept is tailor-made for meeting people and sharing stories. We were all there for Yosemite of course, that's the common goal that connected us, but we got so much more out of the trip because there were other people like us with similar goals yet different backgrounds. Deborah and Kevin have created something wonderful in this secluded corner of Yosemite. It's not just a place to sleep and eat breakfast, you experience people in their purest form. Genuine travelers from all across the world with varied perspectives that you can learn from and ponder about. We will most definitely be back.

Deborah and Kevin are the best hosts. My husband and I have stayed at many a bed and breakfast in the US and abroad and none come close to the comfort, food or relaxing atmosphere you will find here. Everything and anything we needed we had. The rooms are all absolutely wonderful. Very cozy and clean. The property is breath taking and very relaxing. Sat out side my room drinking a glass of wine watching all the humming birds come and go. So many of them! The breakfast was exceptional and completely unexpected. Five star restaurant quality. We will definitely be coming back for a visit in the future. Believe all the 5/5 or 10/10 star reviews.
