the setting is amazing

a property like this needs a restaurant or at the very least a bar! it is remote, and there is currently limited dining in the area. at least during the time the resort is without a restaurant, the staff should ask each guest at check in if they need help making dinner reservations, so you don’t end up having to order pizza as the only dining option!

We had a beautiful room with the most amazing ocean view and a private deck. The fireplace made the large room even more romantic. Our dogs loved their stay as well. Very comfortable. ALL of the staff were so friendly and efficient. We had great massages, and I was treated with a foot scrub and facial, and both were delightful. Can’t wait to go back.

We were there Monday and Tuesday, so only breakfast was served, but staff has to have some time off. We will move our stay to days when they serve dinner so we don’t have to drive anywhere.

The view was utterly amazing and it was the best thing about my trip. I was able to walk along the coast with my dog and visit the private beach daily. The room was large with high ceilings and was beautiful. I was able to sleep with the sliding glass door open and hear the sounds of the waves at night.

There were some scuffs on the walls and some other areas that were a little banged up. The toilet continually ran unless I carefully jiggled the handle after flushing - even after I asked the front desk to send someone over to fix the problem. The temperature control in the room did not work, but I was able to leave the sliding glass door open at night which made the room more comfortable.

The view from our room was incredible

They didn't have a full-service restaurant. The chef was injured and out on medical leave but they didn't have someone to take his place so we had to drive 15 minutes into town every time we wanted to eat. They offered small bites, but it wasn't anything we wanted to eat so we had to go into town to have nice brunches, lunches and dinners.

The Inn and cottages are clean inside and the views are beautiful. There is not a/c or a fan but the staff was kind enough to bring one to us.

The rooms lacked character for the price that was paid (peak season) Was very disappointed that there wasn’t anyplace real close or on property to eat. So back in the car to drive to get some supper and a bottle of wine to sit on the deck. They did have a delivery service available if you want to spend $14-20 delivery fee.

We got upgraded into a honeymoon room with a view overlooking the cliff side. It was so cozy and beautiful. We are newlyweds driving up the west coast and this was our favorite hotel on our trip so far. We loved it all. Thanks for the awesome dinner & breakfast, too.

rooms dated; breakfast room should be the dining room; very poor lighting in the bathroom for putting on makeup; the grounds could use better lighting at night

It was overlooking the ocean.

The main access road was under repair during our stay. The wine list (by the glass) needs to have more options with better wine selections.

This is my third time at Heritage, the view is unbeatable, people are friendly, you really feel like you got away. We always pay for the ocean view rooms so we have "less neighbors" and the total can add up to $600 which is honestly quite expensive given that some rooms look a tad dated here and there but everything was generally clean and I understand that it's quite a vast area to maintain.

Wish all the ocean view rooms had bathtubs. Need to get softer towels. Some parts of the room show a bit of wear.

The property was stunning the rooms were big and spacious the decor is very nice snd beds are comfortable! The bathroom was more of a spa it was fully equipped with all the necessities and was also spacious. We were able to eat dinner and breakfast on the property and it’s was delicious, but they are not open everyday. I got a great 50 min massage at the spa. No spa facilities just a soothing massage. I would recommend this property to everyone and hope to come back!

The restaurants were not open everyday. And it would be nice if they had some extra pillows and blankets on the couches.
