We loved the historical feel of the property combined with the modern amenities. The location was quiet and close to everything we wanted to explore. The garden was sweetly maintained, and the interior design was stunning yet comfortable too. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and such a cute bonus that it’s delivered right to the door for us to enjoy in our pj’s.
I wish we had access to ice or an ice machine nearby. And the mattress was a bit firm, but that’s simply my own personal preference.

It was spotlessly clean. The furnishings/ lounge are wonderful. Every evening 5-6 there is complementary wine and nibbles. Breakfast Was delicious,uniquely served. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Nothing! Maybe a hook in the bathroom to hang the dressing gown. 🤷♀️

The breakfasts were wonderful and we loved that they were delivered to our room each morning. But they could have arrived a little earlier (8:30 maybe). We loved that we could walk into town from our B&B and didn't need to drive & look for parking each time we went out for dinner. Also, the staff were wonderful & polite, always available to help.
There was no door or even a curtain to give privacy when bathing. The shower/tub were in a separate room from the toilet & sink, but something to give privacy while in the shower would have been nice.

We really had a great time in this property, The bed is fab, the room was spotless and the property itself had really good common spaces where we could sit or read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. Peferct location
A kettle I would have thought is standard in most rooms to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the morning.

staff was very responsive to making our stay happy and relaxing. the room was lovely with wonderful view of the ocean.
the property was very nice. a little construction work was being done during our stay but staff was accommodating so that it did not take away from our enjoyment of the facility.

no place to put clothing, bed comfy but very low, no table or desk except for tiny low stumps, heater thermostat didn’t work well, no doormat for wiping dirty feet

Aesthetic was nice and did enjoy the ambiance of Blue door.
Dim lighting in JD house gives an eerie vibe. Wish there was a bit more seating for folks to feel empowered to hang out during wine hour at blue door.

It is a very nice little house with different rooms. Our room was very cosy with our own fireplace and a perfect view. And on top of al that you get your breakfast delivered in a basket on your door. Perfect!

I love the privacy of your little cottage
we were woken up by a gang of raccoons who were raiding the trash cans that were next to our room! haha we didn’t know what it was at first and it persisted for a few hours on and off and finally my husband had enough and went outside and scared them off!
