Inn At Mount Shasta

From the moment we arrived the front desk staff (I think Amy) was very friendly and helpful. I was given a tip on a place to go for a day out and we loved going there - it was the lower, middle and upper falls. We all enjoyed the hike and the cool dip in the water.

The only night we had to use the firepit and cornhole as a family neither one was available because we were told it was going to rain. I didn't see it coming and it didn't rain. Not a deal breaker but a frustration.

I appreciated this bunk suite option we were able to sleep six in one room. The room was spacious and clean, and I received texts regularly from the staff who checked in on our stay. The room was very clean and TV worked well. We were also a 3-minute walk from a small cafe.

The bathtub stopper did not seal the drain, so the bathtub leaked. We often encounter this problem in hotel rooms. The towel hook on the bathroom door fell immediately as I tried to hang a towel. It wasn’t screwed properly at all. We informed the front desk. Also, because temps dropped below freezing, the room was pumping heat and extremely dry. I suggest adding humidifiers in every room. They help a lot with adding moisture to the air.

This is definitely a hidden gem! As most people know, hotels and motels these days won't allow you to check in till between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. and now you have to check out it 11:00 a.m. I traveled all night and I got there relatively early in the morning, but they allowed me to check in! That is huge for me. This place is newly remodeled, with a touch of class. Although this is a small town, it's located away from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to pretty much everything. I liked it so much I stayed another night. I highly recommend this if you're traveling through the Shasta area.

Honestly, I didn't have any complaints about anything! If I did have a complaint, it would be with the weather. It called for between 3 and 6 inches, but we got about a foot and a half, lol.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Inn at Mount Shasta. As some reviewers pointed out, it is a motel, but it has been renovated very recently. Our room on the second floor was quiet, spacious and very clean. Looking at what is available in town in terms of centrally located accommodations, I think that they are the best option. The ladies at the reception, both when we checked in and checked out were very efficient and pleasant.

This is the best hotel in Mt. Shasta. It was incredibly clean, located next to everything, safe and the grounds were well-kept. The price was more than fair. It was a great experience. I'm not sure when I will ever be back In Mt. Shasta, but if I ever am I will stay at this hotel. No doubt about it.

The receptionist was welcoming and helped us by offering several restaurant suggestions. He also gave us a room with parking in front to make it easy for us to carry luggage into room. Sheltered, attractive patio with fire pit. Comfy sitting area in reception with fire in fireplace, games, books to borrow. Mountain air smelled heavenly.

Very clean and very friendly staff. We were traveling with our 3 month old so it was nice to have a microwave in the room to sterilize his bottles

The doors aren’t very well insulated but the heater was sufficient to keep the room warm. The rooms were non- smoking but ours smelled a little like cigarette smoke?

Very easy check-in process. The staff at the reception was very friendly and really put in an effort to make us feel welcome and help us with questions. The room was clean and basic. Clean sheets, towels, toiletries etc. About 20 mins easy drive to the ski park and a couple of minutes to downtown area.

The pictures might have been touched up quite a bit. The place probably does not have the same look and feel as depicted in the pictures. The place is essentially a basic, clean inn

This was a spotlessly clean motel style accommodation with very friendly staff. Rooms were newly renovated and had all the essentials. they have a cute outdoor seating area and corn hole available in the evening. Well located to local restaurants.

There are no real Mountain Views (our room faced a few neighbouring houses) and there is a bit of a busy road close by, although the rooms are quite soundproof. The pillows and beds were not super comfortable for me.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Parking was easy and well-lit at night. We felt very secure. Loved the outside patio area with the little twinkly lights where you could eat outside! Our dog loved the doggie area and all the grass in the front. Front office person was friendly and very helpful. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave, and a very comfortable king-size bed. Easy distance to village shopping area and several really good restaurants. We will definitely stay there again!
