Although the room is small, it is modern and has everything that we needed, ie iron, ironing board and hair dryer! We love the thick and long bathroom towel! The water pressure of the shower was also strong! I like how they try to promote reducing plastics bottle by giving 2 flasks in the room for you to refill your water from the water dispenser located on every floor of the hotel. We love the location of this hotel which is right smack in front of the cable car station. Cable car leads you to many major stopovers and cost $8 one way. Our room gets a window view of all the cable car turn table action every morning and that street feels safe. Just be careful of the other entrance which is very close to the tenderloin area where most of the homeless people are in San Francisco. Noted that due to this reason, the hotel also locked both its entrances and you can only access via the room key card. But we ventured out to a Vietnamese restaurant “bodega” that’s just there, which serves very very good Vietnamese food! Powell metro / BART (to airport) station is also located just a stone throw away from this hotel. We were there for a NBA game and muni takes us from chase centre directly back to Powell station, saves us the surge in calling Lyft! Shopping is also everywhere near the hotel! We can shop and drop our shopping bags in the room before venturing out again.

There should be one more lighting point in the bedroom outside the bathroom where we put our luggage. It’s such a waste that they have a full length mirror as door to the bathroom but due to the poor lighting, we can’t use that space efficiently.

the location is excellent, just next door to the Powell station. we could get anywhere from there. The room was a good size and well laid out, the bed was comfortable, it was just what we wanted. check in and out where quick.

the only thing was that we were not able to change the temperature on the shower, which was very hot, despite turning the heat control.

The room was incredibly spacious and had everything I needed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. There was also a dedicated workspace, which was perfect for getting some work done. The bathroom was well-appointed and had all the necessary amenities. One feature that stood out to me was the automated blinds. It was such a convenient touch to be able to control them remotely. Additionally, the hotel had a sympathetic robot that delivered packages directly to your room. This was a unique and thoughtful service that added to the overall convenience of the stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel offered a designated area where you could fill your water bottle. This was a small but incredibly handy feature, as it saved me from having to purchase water bottles throughout my stay. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. They were always willing to assist with any requests or inquiries, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.

Let's address the concerns about the location. While it's true that there were homeless individuals in the area, the hotel had two entrances, making it easier to access depending on where you were. Moreover, the location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation and various shopping stores. I even found a Target nearby, which was a bonus. There was very little that I didn't like about this hotel. If I had to nitpick, it would be nice if they offered snacks or included breakfast in the price. Although they had free coffee in the room, and have a lovely restaurant where you could purchase food, it would have been a nice option to have breakfast included as an add-on.

The location was absolutely perfect, not only was there tons of stuff around, but public transportation (via the train car and BART system) is literally RIGHT outside and it’s all so cheap if you get the apps! All the big tourist spots are basically within a half hour driving distance or less. It felt very safe since you had to scan your keycard to get into the building and to use the elevators that go up to the rooms. Friendly staff is there 24/7 at the desk and when we had an issue at 1 in the morning, it was resolved within 10 minutes. It was also super clean and the TV had streaming capabilities which was very convenient!

We did have a slight issue with the breakers that control the TV, air conditioner, and outlets in the main room go out, but it didn’t really effect our stay.

It is that modern kind of boutique hotel that tries to connect historic substance of the building with modern elements. Quite successful in my opinion. Location is great as the cablecar turntable is right in front of the hotel, and F line station, bus stations,. metro, BART etc. is very close. Still, the rooms are surprisingly quiet. Like the old arcade machines in the mezzanine. A/C in the room I had first was broken (and it was known to the staff). Seems they still gave me the room to have both our rooms on the same floor. But after complaining, a new room was offered right away.

Both our rooms has a strong smell from the sewer when the air conditioner was not running. And there is no way to make it run once you leave the room. After a few minutes it would disappear but it is still unpleasant. Lighting in the entrance area of my room was insufficient. Staff at the turn cafe was friendly, but choices are limited and too pricey. Also, as one can order online as well, waiting time is usually long even though the queue looks short.

The hotel is ideally located, very close to shopping malls, restaurants, cable car, tramway, metro or bus lines (including hop-on/hop-off touristic bus tours). The hotel is also very comfortable. The personnel is very nice, welcoming, and always willing to help. This was highly appreciated during our stay.

The rooms do not actually have a view, or the view is on a wall or facing the room next door, which can be a bit annoying for privacy. The hotel also lacks a swimming pool which was not critical for us, but can be an issue for others.

Great location! Steps away from the cable car turnaround and Bart / Muni Metro station. Also close to Trader Joe’s for Room snacks, parks and IMAX theater. Property was clean, secure and staff friendly and helpful. Nice personal touch by adding a welcome with my name on the room tv. Also LOVED the robot that delivered items to our room!

Room space was a bit tight and lacked storage & places to set items in the shower. There was just 1 small drawer for clothing items which wasn’t enough for 2 people. There was no step or shelf to place personal items on, so they had to be placed on the shower floor. Also had difficulty connecting to and staying connected to the WiFi. Staff did help with my phone but I never got the screen mirror option to work with the tv.

Wonderful central location with the cable car turnstile & stop just outside the front door. Also plenty of bus stops a few feet from the front door. Modernised low-rise hotel - we were on the 6th floor with corner windows. It was very quiet. Onsite cafe was a bonus which we used a couple of times. Beautiful spacious marble bathroom with luxurious towels. Excellent bed linen. Good lighting and electronics. Little coffee machine appreciated, and loved the hotel robot that came and delivered more coffee pods. We didn't use the gym because we were so busy out and about. Great front desk service from Bryan who was friendly and helpful.

Assigned a top floor with a city view (i.e. of many high rise buildings). spacious bedroom & bathroom. all amenities included except pen & notepad ( to leave a message for housekeeping ). overall a great location in proximity of several theaters.

since we experienced no negativity during our stay, I’m certain we’ll be repeat guests.

The location was excellent.

Parking my rental car cost way too much. $67 per night is excessive.
