I was not advise the cost of breakfast or weather we had it included or not. I es charged the full cost of breakfast and only had a coffee, I should be been adviced of it.

The staff were really helpful and we got a room upgrade. The Junior suite was really comfortable, beautifully presented, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The location of the hotel was brilliant, in a safe area with plenty around it. Very easy public transport links. As the hotel has recently been taken over by Hilton, then many rooms were under-going renovation so older reviews might be out of date.

The only issue was that the sliding bathroom door was sticking / would not close. The breakfast was very limited for the price with better deals locally.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Steps to the Powell Street trolley and Union square. Lots of great shops. Included breakfast was one of the nicest we've had in hotels... lots of fresh fruit and other options. Our room this time was quite large and very clean. Bathrooms were very nice and modern. Great linens, comfortable bed. Nice "old hotel" feel to the building.

The hotel no longer offers valet parking. The hotel is being updated... the lights in our room would go on and off occasionally when someone in another room turned their lights on. We thought we had a ghost, but the lady at the front assured us it wasn't. Homelessness is a huge issue in San Francisco. Too often we were stepping over what we hoped was 'dog poop'. Not the hotels fault at all.

I like the location. right smack in the center of Union Square. Very convenient. and the beds are queen sized, since we are a family of 4, sleeping wasnt cramped.

the toiletries! we had to ask for the toothbrushes. toothbrushes are basic, hotel guests shouldn't ask for it, including bedroom slippers! and the lighting design of the room , i find it quite dark & not to my liking.

I felt safe in this street; it was good that the reception desk was always open. The free coffee is such a time saver. I did not understand the many plugs and electricity cables in the room.

A touch of a weird smell in the room. Wifi didn't work the first night, but it worked all of the other days.

Loved everything about it! I did a lot of research into where to stay, as only a young couple that gets nervous in bad areas!! Felt safe here all the time!! The facilities were great. We only did 2 nights & would of happily stayed 4-7 nights! Small rooms but expected that in the city! Location was perfect

The $18 breakfast wasn’t the best

While our room was small, it was still a very clean and simple one. The bed was very clean and super comfortable. The staff was super friendly and make me feel very informed on my room.

While this is not their fault, since there is no parking , we had yo rely on the nearby parking spots which can be pricey if you’re staying their for a long time.

Very comfortable and great location in the city! We have stayed there numerous times over the years and were happy there was a space available this time as we were a little late in booking. Also nice to have a parking garage nearby. Easy to walk to some of the wonderful areas of San Francisco from this hotel. rooms are very nice as is the staff and the breakfast!

If we could have stayed even longer that would have been nice!! hahahaha Nothing to do with the hotel !!

Bed very confortable. Bedroom big enough. The location was nice and easy to reach by public transport to almost all of the sightseeing points

The room windows very thin so a bit noisy in the evenings but before midnight it was quiet.

This is clearly not a 4 stars hotel. The hotel is clean with a nice decoration inside but too much things seems not finished. The location is perfect to discover the city and the staff was very helpfull.

Lots of noise during the night
