After the reviews we were apprehensive, but honestly for a week our room was like our little home. We loved the hotel and the location was amazing for town. We were on the 5th floor and there was minimal noise any side of us. The desk staff were helpful at the Stratford and were really kind. We got drinks at the Bartlett and you get 10% off of food and drinks. The room was such good value for money. If you are visiting and will be out most of the time, it’s great! Rooms were secure and we felt safe, even without staff on the desk.

The only things we can say were that cleaning would of been nice free of charge however we get that we chose not to get that. Nothing else :)

Very well localized, near public transportation and lots of dining options. The hotel was very clean.

The check-in had to be done in another hotel. Just a little hassle but it is not a big issue. We had to request towels 2 times and yet we did not have our request met. I only managed to get towels because I spoke with the cleaning lady by chance and she was very nice to give it to us immediately. Our room had no air conditioning.

Check-in is at a different location, which was nor mentioned to me anywhere.

Bathroom and shower were small and there were only one shower and one bathroom available for the whole floor. It was not very well indicated that checking and keys had to be collected in another hotel I send a couple of requests/question via booking before my trip but nobody answered

Location of the hotel is super great, close to almost everything - cable car, Union square, China town, in the walking distance to Fisherman´s wharf and Painter ladies (if you like to walk). Powell station is just 3 minutes away if you need to use a train to go somewhere (airport including which is convenient). Shopping centers, Wallgreens, Traders Joe's are close. Room had everything necessary - hairdryer, electric kettle, table, bedside tables, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash.

I had a room where I could here some noise from water drainage system, which was a bit loud at times at night. Also, couple of times I've heard a man crying out for help, who I think was some homeless in the street but this freaked me out expecially for the first time since I could hear it pretty well.

Overall, we had a highly satisfying experience during our stay. The hotel's prime location, situated near the cable car stop and Union Square, provided us with convenient access to a plethora of restaurants, stores, and the metro. The quick transportation options to the SF airport were an added advantage. The friendly staff ensured a pleasant stay, offering seamless check-in and check-out processes. We were genuinely delighted with our time at this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating; they even allowed us to check in a few hours early. The room was small but clean, cozy and functional.

It's my mistake for not doing more research, but the location is not the most desirable. This is no fault of the hotel's; just something to be aware of.

Location, location, location! Great location in down town SF. Near the convention center, many good bars and restaurants, and the BART so you could hop to wherever else in the city fairly easily. Room was clean and the lobby was well decorated.

First, the check-in process was a little annoying. Was unclear you needed to check in at a different hotel down the block. The hotel was basically just a place to sleep and shower which was fine for me but may be a negative for those who would like more amenities. Last, the room didn't have a/c so it got a little muggy but cracking the window solved that.

Too much homeless in the street but is not hotel fault

I loved my stay here. I was travelling alone for work and everything was perfect. The rooms were nice and stylish. Everything was clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very quick to answer any questions I have. Plus, it was great value. Thank you!
