The check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly and informative about the surrounding area - given that it was dark when we arrived at night, that was very helpful for finding a restaurant (we booked online through Booking.com about 1 hour before we checked in). Our room was immaculately clean; the bed was comfortable, the room was warm and the shower had fantastic water pressure. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were each in refillable bottles; not individual sachets which cuts down on waste, a thing that both my wife and I liked. The interior design of the room was pleasant, it seemed to me to be a mix of Japanese and Mexican (apologies if I have gotten this wrong); it was your average motel room but Agave Inn's finishing touches throughout and it's cleanliness made it stand out for me. I would definitely stay at the Agave Inn again and I have already recommended it to friends; and I would do so to anyone. There are Japanese, Korean, Indian and Thai restaurants near by and also a pizza place; there are also a couple of bars too. Across the street there is a garden nursery, a fabulous French patisserie and a sandwich shop; all within the Loreto Plaza shopping centre.

Please do not read this as a criticism! Our room was the closest room to the road and traffic could be heard; I'm unsure what kind of window units that are currently used but maybe an upgrade would help to keep the traffic noise down a little more. Don't get me wrong, the noise of the traffic did not detract from my wife's and my stay but I'm sure some other people might be a little more precious.

The room was clean and comfortable. I was pleased to find out it was roomier than the pictures made it seem. Check in was easy and quick, and it was nice that we didn't have to deal with any room keys. The AC was great, although it wasn't hot when I stayed there. The bed was okay, not terrible but not the best. The parking is limited and a bit cramped, so those with bigger cars or trucks will find it pretty tight. There is overflow parking though. And the hotel is off a main street but wasn't particularly noisy. Overall it was a pleasant experience and had a better pricing than a lot of the other hotels in SB. I would definitely stay there again.

WIFI could have been faster, Office not available after 9pm and before 9am, King mattresses very soft, stairs to both King Bed Rooms.

The property is clean with cute decorations. The staff is friendly. There is a fridge, microwave, and supplies to make coffee and tea. The mountain views from the area are beautiful. And I loved having a door code instead of a key.

There is noise from the parking lot because the windows face that way but it wasn’t bad. There is limited parking but they have an arrangement with the business next door.

The room was clean, well decorated, and plenty of space for a single traveller. The staff was friendly and communicative. I would definitely recommend the Agave Inn or book here again when I am in the area.

There is a sound issue which others mentioned in their reviews. The main thing that would make the Agave Inn better would be to replace the standard windows with double-paned windows to cut back on the noise. Although the parking lot is just as tiny as the inn one can hear any sound just outside one's room. From rolling suitcases to car doors automatic unlocking. You just have to hope people don't shuffle about at unreasonable hours.

The staff was very friendly, check-in was easy and we were offered a bigger room for free. The room was nice and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite (however we did have a room that wasn’t right by the street). Parking at the Inn is limited, but there are good options that work just as well.

The only thing I realized was that our window was broken, however this was a minor issue and didn’t affect our stay.

This little boutique hotel has big bang for your buck. One of the most popular bars/restaurant is right a cross the Street in a strip mall called Harry’s bar. They are known for their strong drinks, so be careful. The hotel room has many extras like a refrigerator and stove. We stayed in the family suite upstairs and away from street traffic noise

We absolutely loved the room. It felt extremely comfortable and clean. The bed was super soft which might not appeal to everyone but it was very nice. The check in was quick and easy as well as the check out. There was plenty of options for free parking close by and of course it’s in a very good location.

Room was just as expected from the pictures posted on site. Air conditioner worked amazingly. Clean, bright, cheery.

We happened to be next to the neon "Vacancy" sign and it lit up a portion of our room, even though there were curtains that were completely closed. Also, was not a fan of the shampoo, soap etc. provided. Smell was not pleasant. I had to use anyway because I forgot my own.

Loved the friendly service and clean welcoming atmosphere

Our room was #8 which was next to the front office as well as laundry room. We got to check in a bit early which was awesome ! Due to long travel we wanted to rest before going to dinner and had no privacy or quiet time because everyone was checking in from 3-5. Cars pulling up , washer dryer going (right behind our head board ) constant chatter. Great stay yet request furthest away from main office !
