We were on our way back home and Northbound on "The Grapevine," when all of a sudden traffic came to a halt. After being stuck there for several hours, we finally found out that a Hazmat Tank had caught fire. We decided to drive back down and get a hotel, rather than take our chances and wait to see if they would let traffic through. Thankfully this hotel had rooms available, and was close to everything we might need such as gas stations and fast food. There is an IHOP in front, and an ARCO and Taco Bell right next to the hotel.

Nothing, it met our needs. I would gladly book this hotel again.

The location was stellar as was the staff. The room was a nice size and clean. The beds were comfortable, even the pullout couch that my son slept on was decent. I loved how we could open the window and get fresh air, hardly see that in hotels. The pool was heated and my kids loved the hot tub. Tons of parking and, even though we didn't utilize it, there was a little patio area with a BBQ available to the guests.

The bathroom needed some updating. The shower head was hard to reach and adjust, and the toilet was slow. The TV/cable seemed out dated. For Spectrum cable it was odd to not be able to see a guide or info button on the remote.

Loved the staff, especially John at the front desk! He provided an amazing experience from the time we arrived, helping us with all the services until the time we left. John's great attitude reiterates the name "Comfort" inn for your hotel. I will only stay at this hotel when in LAX visiting family and only recommend it to my family and friends as the rest of the staff was pleasant and worked very hard to keep the place clean and stocked, including even making sure the BBQ grill was clean for our frozen fish we brought from Alaska.

It’s very welcoming!!!! It’s a little old with a few things like carpet and bits of the paint job, but that doesn’t matter to much. The staff is very friendly, and treat their guest with respect. The rooms are nice and clean, and have a nice little set up. Cool little sofa with a hide a bed.

Blankets need to be swapped with newer ones. Looks like the one on my bed had a burn spot and a yellow stain. But didn’t bother me because it was Down lower on the blanket. Also wish there was a bit more pressure on the water in the shower.

The beds were comfy and the room was big enough to hold 3 adults all sleeping in different beds. It was great to have the complementary breakfast daily. We also used the grill one evening to bbq. We stayed a week so used the laundry facilities and the spa. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

The hot tub could of been hotter, but it was a cold spurt outside so that could of been why.

Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but the kids always like make-your-own-waffles. If you're looking for a place near Magic Mountain (driving, not walking) it was about as good as you're going to find for the price. Friendly staff, room seemed clean.

One of the least well-equipped fitness centers I've ever experienced. Good luck to you if you have to share it with anyone. So tiny, so little equipment.

I have stayed here before and also teach in the SCV, I was returning from a vacation in SC and the first room assigned was on the 2nd floor near elevator. No problem w elevator but the guests above me, their kids were running around all over the room and obviously jumping off the beds.

Don’t place a guest that is checking in late in the evening in a room beneath the presidential suite, esp w wild kids. perhaps put signs on each floor when elevator doors open to ask guests to respect other guests by keeping noise levels to a minimum. Some people just have no clue about social graces .

the hotel is in a great location! it’s less than ten minutes from magic mountain and tons awesome places to eat, but it’s still tucked away enough that you miss the hustle and bustle and it’s pretty quiet. the girl that checked us in at the front desk was incredibly friendly and answered all of the questions I had. the staff in general were really lovely! I was a minute late to the juice machine at breakfast and was told it was closed, so I went to sit down and a kind woman came over and told me she had opened it up again, which I really appreciated! she didn’t have to do that, it wasn’t her fault that I was late getting juice. there was also an issue with the hot tub, and though the employee (extremely friendly front desk girl from before) wasn’t sure how to fix it, she came out and tried to help before contacting someone else to fix it. the property is just okay, but the staff take it above and beyond!

the air conditioner didn’t work too well. luckily, it wasn’t super hot outside, but it didn’t even really blow. also, and this isn’t on the property, but I could tell that someone in a room near ours was smoking, even though it is a nonsmoking hotel. the pool was pretty dirty the night we arrived, though it was significantly cleaner the second night.

Personal very friendly, allowed early checkin. Breakfast good, though space is very limited. We enjoyed our stay, so close to six flags. Quiet area, easy to get to by car. Several places to eat in walking distance.

Comfort

Common areas and carpets can be cleaner. Price is too high and the staff was trying to take advantage of me. Before booking I called the hotel to ask if they could confirm if the room was still available. They said standard rooms were not available anymore and wanted me to pay much more for the room. Finally I booked through Booking for a cheaper price they wanted me to pay. Simply I would avoid them next time I go to LA
