The breakfast was fantastic. The front desk help was fantastic.

the first night we heard the toilet running all night long. When we reported it, it was fixed immediately, but we would have thought that the cleaning staff would have "heard" the toilet water running non-stop themselves while cleaning the room. the last day there, the shower handle fell right off the wall during the shower. This meant climbing out of the shower while it was still raining down hot water. Then we had to figure out how to do a "temporary" fix on the shower handle until we could tell the front desk. The room cost was high, and we weren't permitted to use our AARP discount since we booked with Booking.com

The staff were friendly and accommodating - even through stressful issues. Lobby was clean and comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and clean. Nice grassy area in between buildings. Parking is convenient. Nice complimentary breakfast selection (could be stocked a bit better) Fresh coffee all the time.

Area surrounding the hotel could be cleaner. After two days, I ended up picking up trash that had been sitting there. Some plumbing issues/toilet running/drains clogged.

If you like the amenities of a standard hotel (pool, wi-fi, continental breakfast, free & plentiful parking) within close proximity to the Sequoia National Park, then this is a good hotel.

No real complaints -they delivered on what they advertised. However, beware that, because it is so close to a national park, there are bugs at night, and the outside of the hotel needs some more upkeep (it's a little rundown).

conveniently located to where I needed to be, included, breakfast, and someone was there 24 hours with a small area to purchase things if needed

although the room, I’m sure was clean, it had a dirty feel to it. like it needs an update and the whirlpool tub looked dirty even though I’m sure it was clean. Cable TV was limited.

Beds were nice and firm (quite firm= nice for me). Were both welcomed and checked out by cheerful, helpful men. Breakfast was delicious... so much better than I expected! Bacon and eggs? YES! Everything in the room was clean. Having a microwave and mini fridge = SO important. Room was spacious enough! We felt safe inside and outside. Conveniently located, but also still pretty outside. Enough convenient parking. Blankets were warm enough; there were enough pillows of varying densities. There were WONDERFULLY enough plugs and charging receptacles by the bed!!!!

Room was very comfortable when we came in, but took a little long to get cooler when we were ready for sleep, but eventually did. (Oh! Our room was 210. The bathroom door hinges squeaked ... please oil. Woke up my partner in the middle of the night.)

great location for Sequioa

great to have breakfast on site, but the breakfast was really crowded so it would be better to plan the crowd flow by giving an option of time slots to arrive and/or do breakfast to go options. The spa was closed for the season, there was no information about that at the time of booking (we booked the same day) so they should not have marketed that they have a spa on site when there clearly was no spa on site (functioning/open).

Limited options staying outside of Kings Canyon and Sequoia, so they do their best to make it a comfortable and safe stay. They offer breakfast which was fine, very basic. We actually went down the street to Sequoia Coffee Co instead.

The rooms are small for a family of 6, so be prepared to be cozy. The first night we stayed there, we received a notice that the local electric company would be doing power outages from 10pm-6am, which was a little stressful upon arrival. Perhaps an email ahead of check-in would have been helpful. Luckily, I packed a flashlight and the night was mild. A hotel room without power is beyond dark for a stay in a new place.

It was very clean, the family room is great and very convenient location, next to stores and restaurants

I would like improvements with AC. While I was able to use it to cool down the room a bit, the temperature in the room itself didn’t go noticeably lower than about 72 degrees. I sleep better under cold temperatures, if this is improved then this place would be exceptional.

The staff is friendly and efficient. We were impressed by its room with everything provided from make-up remover to laundry bag. We really enjoyed its hot breakfast provided and they were very yummy. Enough park spots around the whole facility and you are even offered a swimming pool and a spa. Will strongly recommed it to my family and friends if they are heading to the Sequioa National Park. It's 10 minute drive from the hotel to the park entrance. There are quite a few good restaurants such as Pizza Factory and Riverview Grills & Bar near the hotel and you can't miss it if you stay at the hotel for several nights.

Attention to the hotel leadership. We have paid one price for one night. The local people were getting a DIFFERENT PRICE for ONE NIGHT. We personally witnessed how the local young man approached a front desk, asked for a room for one night. The front desk lady started to whisper ( well, we hear well enough), she offered him a room for 100 dollars less. THIS IS INSANE! Please review, this is so unfair!!!!! Also, the front desk lady was not nice, not smiling to us, did not feel welcomed at all. However, the local gentlemen had a charm, as she was very welcoming and nice to him. Ahhh, so unfair.
