Location was close to Garden of the gods and a area where traffics was not crazy. You can see Pikes Peak from outside your door. Parking the car right by our motel door was convent . I love motels with a first level like this one . ROOM VERY CLEAN . 5 minute walk to FREE shuttle that will take you to PIKES PEAK COG-RAIL. If you drive you will pay $20 to park your car at the cog rail parking lot. The office guy who may have been the owner told me that and was very hospitable and friendly. He was a COOL GUY and would explain everything. They should consider a Waffle maker in the future to add to the breakfast. P.S. My wife and I are 70 years old on Social Security and we do not look for big fancy places to stay . We love [ CLEAN ] places that our car is right outside of our door because I’m always forgetting things in the car. Nothing worse than walking down a long hall way , taking the elevator down , finding the car , then having to key yourself back into the building and doing everything in reverse. Then most of the time I forget another thing and it starts all over again.

I wish motel had a larger SMART TELEVISION with apps so I could watch my SLING TV with all the programs I always DVR because I HATE WATCHING COMMERCIALS! That would be a BIG PLUS for this motel . Maybe management will invest in that soon.

The hotel was within walking distance to the shops in monitau. But not so close as to being disturbed by other tourists visiting the area, which saved us money on parking ($4.00 per hour). The hotel has been recently remodeled. It had older furniture,but it had new carpet, paint, ect, and very clean.The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We also liked that they didn't come to clean the room unless asked to do so. The owners were genuinely concerned about our comfort, and when we would see them,(frequently) they would ask if we needed anything. If we did need anything like towels, toilet paper, sheets They would quickly provide them. They valued our privacy. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels from 5 stars to unexpected dives. This place was one of the best. Thanks, Eagle Motel, for the experience.

At first, I didn't care for having to go outside to the office to get coffee and breakfast. However, I found it to be quick and convenient.

This small family run motel was perfect for us. It just looks like a basic motel from the outside, but don't let that fool you - inside was clean, the memory foam beds were very comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. It was close enough to easily walk into the heart of town for a fun evening, without being too loud or busy. Best of all, when I accidentally left a small item in the room, the customer service was outstanding. Would absolutely return and stay again. Thank you!

The property was quite old but it was spotless, bed linens were clean as was the carpeting. We liked parking right outside our room. There was no housekeeping for a 3-night stay but it was just a short walk to the front office to get anything we needed such as clean trash bags or coffee cups. Would gladly stay here again.

The breakfast offerings were quite slim....just a couple cold cereals or cinnamon rolls and hardboiled eggs. For a "breakfast included" motel, this didn't even seem to be a continental breakfast to us.

the breakfast is good for a motel. The location is excellent, walking distance to parks, bus stops, and easy access to many other attractions. The Pikes Peak and Incline can be seen in the front yard. Garden of the Gods is a few minutes away. the bathroom is spotless, newly renovated, The owners are a super friendly couple. They shared a lot of their experiences with us, and gave great recommendations on food, attractions, and things to do. They gave us extra time for us to pack up since we came down the Incline a bit late without any charge.

We chose to bring our own breakfast and heat it in the microwave. The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. It was very clean. We stayed in a king bed room pon the upper level with the table and chairs on the balcony. We enoyed having our breakfast there in the mornings.

The breakfast was limited to bagels, etc, nothing hot, but that was remedied by bringing our own and using the refrigerator and microwave in the room. Also, the TV set quite low for actually watching in bed, but it was a very nice room.

The owner was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Check in was prompt, quick and efficient. The value and location is unmatched - a big room walking distance to downtown Manitou, who could ask for more? The continental breakfast is everything you could want to get started - bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, good pastries, fresh coffee. You can tell the owner has his heart in his place. Quaint and comfortable. I'll 100% be back!

Perfect location for Pikes Peak area and walking into Manitou Springs. The bed was absolutely heaven. My husband had coffee with the owner every morning while I slowly got going. Everyone was so nice and helpful. For a family owned business, it was a really great experience.

Like the other area hotels, it's not new, but we literally did not care. We'll choose this place every time.

Everything. The man running everything was amazing. Anything we needed he was on it. Had a smile everyday and was happy to help. Gave us recommendations on where to go and was just all around great. We will definitely be back. Don't let the word Motel scare you. This is not a run down place. Very clean and as soon as you walk out your room you have the best views.

Breakfast had boiled eggs and milk, which a lot of continental breakfasts dont have. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable of area. Room was well super clean and newly appointed. I liked the location of the A/C unit, next to the sink vs the front wall. Would stay again!

Bed was a little firm for my and my wife's liking. It was foam I think. Little bit of road noise as it sits next to a road. Not bad though.
