The hotel is at the outskirts of town but you can easily walk there. There is a shuttle bus stop right across the street that takes you into town or all the way to the cog railway station. I had plenty of time before the departure of the cog railway, so I opted to walk there. Google maps will tell you that it will take about 45 minutes to get there, however it took me only 30. The hotel has a quaint little pool. It's not ideal for swimming laps but I did it anyway and it worked. The hotel is also a very short distance from the Garden of the Gods. 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The location was central to all of our activities. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and appreciated.

The only negative was in regard to breakfast. It was a little lacking. If you are not into waffles, muffins or cereal, you might have a difficult time finding it filling.

Comfortable beds and nicely appointed room. Good value, in general. Breakfast could be improved with the addition of protein beyond peanut butter. Maybe boiled eggs?

Third day we left the room at about 11:00 a.m. and returned about 5:00 p.m. Housekeeping had been about 2 doors away when we left. When we returned the soiled towels had been removed and the trash emptied, but beds were not made and clean washcloths & hand towels had not been provided, nor trash liners replaced. Housekeeping finally showed up about 6:00 asking if we needed anything but only hand towels and more bath towels (which were not needed) were provided. Not sure what happened to cause the lapse in room cleaning. It had been more than adequate the previous 2 days.

It would have been better to have some protein options. Hard for diabetic visitors to eat all the high carb items.

I didn't like being questioned about my middle name being different on my credit card from my DL. Married women have a challenge listing a middle name - is it your maiden name or the actual middle name given to you at birth. Anyone would be able to tell my DL showed my obviously maiden name as the middle name. I felt like I was accused of trying to pull a fast one on them!

Breakfast was great. Good selection of make/serve yourself items...cold (cereals, pastries/muffins, fruit) and hot (waffles, bagels, toast, hot cereals) plus coffee, tea, cocoa. Dining area was a decent size and clean.

Coffee maker in room wasn't very good. Barely extracted coffee from the pods and was very weak. I booked because of indoor pool, but buildings didn't connect to indoor pool area. It was very cold when we visited so we were not keen to go back and forth to our room with damp hair, etc so didn't use the pool at all.

Location was within an hours drive from every where I was taking my family. The staff was very friendly and helpful on quickly trying to fix the problems we had during our stay. Rooms were always cleaned well. Although we had a few hiccups we would stay again.

AC/fan didn't work well in our room, had to buy a small fan as room was a little warm. The toilet backed up a couple times (we figured it was due to all the rain) and the ice machine we used broke.

The friendly outgoing staff; lovely, comfortable, clean room with living room area; wonderful bed; clean bathroom, everything was perfect!! Would love to come back to stay any time, wish we could get a free night :) The hot tub/pool area was extremely clean and relaxing. Many TV channels to chose from. A very nice refrigerator. Located so close to many, many attractions, shops, restaurants, and beautiful scenery.

The only thing better would have been to have a microwave in the room.

Family friendly! No cannabis, alcohol allowed! Also, the no pet policy was great for me because of my allergies to them! Large rooms with a nice sitting area. Nice pool area!

Walls were somewhat thin so that you can hear your neighbors.

We are in our middle 60's. No elevator is Crazy!! We stayed for 4 days and We had Elevation Sickness and short of breath. And had to climb the stairs. We were disappointed, but everything else was Great!! Nice room and clean.

No elevator. Had to do stairs, with being short of breath. Was there 4 days, with Elevation Sickness.

Location perfect for our short stay - everything within a short distance. Kids enjoyed the pool, the breakfast was ample and the staff very friendly.

It is an older building! Main issue was lack of outlets in an electronic world; luckily had a multi prong charger
