Villa Motel at Manitou Springs

It was right on the line for the free shuttle. We were able to hop onto the shuttle to get to the Cog Railway for our trip to the top of Pikes Peak. It was very convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hot shower was amazing! It was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful! It is in the older section of Manitou Springs, and if we had been staying there longer, it would have been a great place to walk, shop, and enjoy the restaurants.

I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator, and of course, our room was on the 2nd floor. It just made it a little more work to get settled!

This was a great place to stay and walk downtown to shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean. Its an older motel style place so we parked right outside our door. The reception was very helpful and they had a basic breakfast available with packaged pastry and fruit. Our room had a kerig so I bought coffee and cream and kept it in my room to make my own and fill my travel mug every morning. One morning our tv didn't turn on and they fixed it right away. You could buy canisters of O2 in the lobby also. I bought one the day we went higher in the mountains to sightsee. I would stay at this hotel again.

I think they were short staffed. We stayed 5 days and had to go ask for towels one morning. Not a big problem for us but if I was traveling with kids It would have annoyed me.

Rooms were very spacious. Clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Reasonable priced for the area.

I was pulling a trailer. Parking was limited. Especially with a trailer. I had to park across the street in an old bank location. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t handy either. Was disappointed with the “continental” breakfast. No place to sit down. Basically just snack type food to grab and leave.

Check in went smooth, front desk employee was friendly and courteous . Location was great and within walking distance to Manitou Springs. Love the fact that the city shuttle pickup was right across the street from the hotel, It was nice when going to the Cog railway. Hotel is easy accessible to main attractions.

rooms weren't cleaned on daily basis, beds were not made and trash was not taken out daily. However during Covid this could be the normal routine. So we weren't bothered by it much. Hot tub and pool close too early around 9pm. Most hotels are a little later, but being family owned and operated this is understandable as well.

The staff was super friendly. The location was perfect to explore Manitou Springs and the surrounding areas. The parking was very easy.

The pool was being repaired, which is great they maintain it. However, it meant we were unable to swim during our stay. The rooms are a little outdated but clean and comfortable enough.

Great location, and walkable to any restaurant or shop. Very close to Garden of the Gods as well. Can’t beat the location of this motel.

The price of the rooms were quite high considering they are pretty run down and need some updating and repair. The breakfast offered was less than stellar, and could use an improvement.

Everything was very clean, pool and hot tub were nice. Showers had great water pressure as well! The location is awesome, a 5-10 minute walk to all the shops and arcade on Manitou Ave., and about a 10 minute drive from garden of the gods and old Colorado city. We even walked to Miramount Castle from the hotel (just 1 mile). The staff were very friendly and welcoming! They have a pretty big fridge and a microwave in the room as well.

Beds could be a little more comfy!

Was very convenient to downtown Manitou, within walking distance. There was also a nice little park across there street with a playground if someone has children.

I like a softer mattress and larger pillows, not sure why everyone is going to smaller no fluff pillows.

I liked being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and a river park across the street. The room was comfortable and pleasingly adorned with historic photographs of Manitou Springs. The wall air conditioner worked well.

They advertise an included breakfast, but be aware it consists only of fresh fruit, prepackaged rolls, a coffeepot,, and bottles of juice. I grabbed a few things to take with me on the road. I also stopped at Uncle Sam's (just down the road) for a really good full breakfast.

We had the best time at Villa Motel. Everything was comfortable and clean with great facilities. Staff were all very friendly and the location was perfect. Great coffee machine and refrigerator in the room and ice machine nearby. 10/10
