EVEN Hotel Norwalk, an IHG Hotel

Hotel was perfect for a business traveler. I had one day of business coming from New York on the train. The location is pretty convenient and Norwalk has lots of busses that run into the downtown area or to the train stations. Only downside to the location is that after around 10PM there wasn't many places open to grab a bite to eat. The hotel did have a convenience store with some options and there was a gas station within about a 10 minute walk that had some options too. The beds were luxurious and the shower was incredible. WiFi was also very quick.

Not much to say for things I didn't like, only thing I can think of is that there was no in-room information booklet on places to visit or places to eat.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the fact that there were Clorox wipes provided. The bathroom was clean and comfortable as well. Check-in was easy and I had to check-in again because I booked an extra night and that went well too.

I booked a queen room and was given a king room with a very noisy air conditioner. I was put in a room on the 1st floor towards the exit and it was also very noisy with people going in and out all the time. I‘m unsure if this is because I booked through booking.com.

The hotel is so cute. I love the wellness aesthetic. it was nice to have exercise equipment at our disposal. The facility is very clean and modern. There’s a nice outdoor area with seats and a fire pit. There are indoor areas to sit and hang out, a nice bar, and a shop area. Everything was clean and comfortable. I saw bikes in the lobby that I’m assuming are available for guests to use. Staff was friendly and personable. There’s a small strip of restaurants right next door. There’s Latin food, Pho and a burger place. There’s a shopping area with a small Walmart about 5 or so minutes away. I would most definitely stay at this hotel again.

I have no complaints. We booked this hotel very last minute, late at night, after being very disappointed with and canceling our previous accommodations. If there were any flaws, I didn’t notice because I was too busy appreciating how nice this place was compared to the last.

Fruit water and coffee in the lobby were good and always available. Beds were comfortable. The shower worked well and soaps provided were pleasantly scented. Fitness equipment in the room was a nice addition. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was free and easy to find a place.

Not much to dislike, but at times it was a bit noisy. I could hear people talking in the hallway.

Spacious room with gym some equipment in it + an actual good hotel gym on top. Fridge in-room for you to use if needed. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants. Little shop on site for snacks etc.

Minor signs of wear and tear: the elevator was out for a few hours and beeped non-stop (was fixed fast) and my bathroom had a leaky faucet (I asked to look into that after my visit as the bathroom door blocked out the noise).

The bed was very comfortable,shower was excellent

three or four employees were hanging in the lobby in the morning forceing me and my wife to go around them felt like i was being dared to ask them to move which i did not do . looked like maintenance employees and front desk girl. I also went down to the lobby to get coffee at 7 am and did not see the creamer I asked the desk clerk where it was kept and got a wave and i could not hear her because I left my hearing aids in my room. I asked her again and she had started talking to another employee she just looked at me and turned away. i felt like she should have walked over and helped me locate it, it was in the bottom of the fridge. At checkout at 11am the desk girl was super asked about my stay and smiled very nicely .

Good location, clean, comfortable. In room fitness tools a nice perk.

No clear procedure for ordering breakfast. No one out front the morning I was there; Hotel higher ups having a meeting at the bar let me stand there a while before offering to give my order to the chef. Since the terminal to purchase snacks is there, could this be programmed to handle breakfast orders when they are short staffed?

Loved the gym! And our bathroom! Front desk was friendly. Appreciate the water stations everywhere, coffee and tea available. The fire pit at night was a nice touch too

The hotel description mentioned a game room and ping pong table, bike rentals. These were a deciding factor in our selection for this hotel, so we’d were disappointed to learn these amenities were not available.

Room was nice. I liked that they had stretching and workout equipment in the room. Gym available was nice. Friendly staff.

First room we had had a noisy air system...we asked to change rooms. This was easily done. I also think the breakfast was really not in line with the values of the hotel. Nice workers but the order system meant that it took a while to get breakfast and there was limited selection. I think they can do better to match the rest of the hotel offerings.

The location is convenient to where I needed to be.

This is the third time I’ve stayed here and by far the worst. Didn’t have enough towels and they were completely out of hand soap. All we got were apologies and no resolutions. Also, they had some kind of flood in the lobby and it smelled of wet carpet and mildew.
