I chose Microtel for the pricing as times are rough and was pleasantly surprised how much I LOVED it! I was greeted with a smiling front desk attendant (didn't get his name) who offered me up the "quiet room" that I requested without a hitch. It was a small, compact room that had everything I needed for work and also for my personal comfort. (Was surprised and happy to see I had a tub--usually showers are only given in smaller compartments). The morning tea, bagels and hard-boiled eggs hit the spot at breakfast. The staff was always cheerful and courteous. Victoria (morning front desk agent) always greeted me and asked about my plans for the day and actually listened when I told her!! And Judy (breakfast attendant) was always there in case I spilt anything (it does happen!)! Loved having the laundry down the hall--first time I was able to clean my clothes BEFORE I returned home! My trip was a success, and I will definitely be using Microtel next time I travel here! Please thank everyone for making my stay a delight!

Room was clean and suited my needs as I was only there for 2 nights. Breakfast was adequate (pancakes only hot option). It is a short distance for Mohegan Sun (about 30 minute walk). Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Details about shuttle bus and times that it was running. I wasn’t aware that there was a shuttle on Friday and Saturday. Rooms need a little updating. Public transport to get to the hotel is scarce. I was travelling from New London train station and ended up getting a shuttle bus to Mohegan Sun then walking back to hotel. There is a bus that runs every hour during the week but only every 2 hours at weekends that stops around the corner from the hotel. I would have liked more hot options for breakfast.

Stayed for the night after seeing a concert at Mohegan Sun. Loved the fact they offered shuttle service to and from. The driver Tom was top notch. Room was small but served it's purpose. Had everything a larger room would have and it was clean. Several options for breakfast. I enjoyed some orange juice with pancakes. My daughter had yogurt and a muffin. No complaints. Staff all around were super friendly from the check in to restock breakfast area to cleaning people saying good morning while passing in the hallway. Plenty of parking with several stores right within walking distance. Will stay there again if/when I go back to Mohegan Sun.

Room was super. Very clean & comfortable, nice size too. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice for being traditional hotel breakfast buffet, however, pancakes were a little different bonus! Only complaint I had was that the fridge had to be rented as it was not included with the room. Wasn’t a big deal but an odd inconvenience. Otherwise it was great. Really- if the room included the fridge I’d easily rate the stay a 10. Just remember to request the fridge!

The Microtel Inn exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service with a warm and friendly attitude. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel's amenities, including complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, added great value to our stay. The location was convenient and easily accessible. Overall, the Microtel Inn provided a wonderful experience with its top-notch service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities. Highly recommended!

The bed wasn't firm enough!

Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms, laundry on premises, good breakfast. Beds were comfortable

Weird odor in room. Housekeeping sprayed febreze in the room before they left which masked the odor for a short moment. Breakfast was lacking items half the time and were frequently out. I’d suggest a spot where guests know where to put trays once they’re done. I saw numerous people look confused on where they go after they’re done.

We checked in and set the ac before heading to Mohegan for a concert. It was 94 degrees set the ac to 64. Returned around midnight and the room was 74 degrees. The girl working the front desk within 10 minutes sent us to another room where the ac worked perfectly and was actually nicer than our original room.

I wish we didn’t have to switch rooms that late but was grateful for how quickly and efficiently the transfer was handled.

Very friendly staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. We have already made another reservation. My wife was thrilled with the pancake machine. We were both glad to have very bice bagels as well.

Everything was great. We didn't have any complaints! Keep up the good work. Your staff should be commended on their pride in the place of employment. Coming back as often as we can. A-ok!! See you again on Sunday!.

Very clean. Efficient staff. Beds were very comfortable. Nice set up in all of the rooms (mini suites in my opinion). Just the basics as far as amenities for the bathroom (soap, shampoo, conditioner) but no glasses or cups in bathroom. Found that strange. Wonderful location, just a short mile or so to the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort. Also located next to a shopping center which has a food store (Stop and Shop) and a gas station. Uncasville is a quiet little town but we found a wonderful restaurant nearby for breakfast - Breakfast at Diana's. Worth a stop. All in all a really nice hotel with a great location, very convenient, lots of parking. Enjoy!
