Super 8 by Wyndham Groton

Very nice hotel nice clean rooms staff is always very friendly whenever I go to Connecticut on vacation that's the hotel I always stay at I won't say anywhere else

There is absolutely nothing I don't like about this hotel

Desk staff was exceptional! She confirmed and held my room for very late arrival (11pm). I needed an urgent wake-up call for work at 4am-she not only set it, but tested it, and the room phone for whatever reason did not ring. She came to the 2nd floor to personally verify this, and promised that she would call my cell phone with the wakeup call. Like an atomic clock, she called exactly on time! The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and there was no noise. The property felt secure. The price was the best I could find in the area. Will definitely stay again when business requires an overnight.

Shower head could have had a stronger spray, but it was hot and adequate. Panicked a little when the phone didn't work, but the personalized service was even better.

The guy working the front desk was very polite very friendly and helpful and explained all my questions even recommended some good places in the area to eat I stayed at a couple different hotels in the area in my recent travels and he was definitely by far the friendliest front desk attendant that I've met

I was a little upset when I booked the room online I booked the room with a refrigerator and microwave and it was no refrigerator or microwave in the room

The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful

The property is in rough shape overall, many cracked and broken areas in the walkways near front entrance, the front doors don't even close,, the room carpeting had many ciggarette burn marks, the inside of the shower rod which was barely attached to the wall had graffiti written on it, so I guess i had some reading while I was in the shower, lol, the beds had no blankets, just sheets and a very thin bedspread, unfortunately for the price we paid for 1 night it definitely didnt meet my expectations this time.

Having only spent one night at the Super 8 in Groton we didn't get to really experience all it had to offer but what I did see was very satisfactory. The staff was very friendly and the lobby clean, our room was also clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is to have those little shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom along with the soap.

We were very happy during our stay at the Super 8 even though it was for one night and have no complaints.

Great location, plenty of shops & restaurants near by, some in walking distance. King size room was big, had a fridge, a bit dated but clean. Free Wi-Fi, parking and lots of channels on the tv

Was the handicapped parking always had 3 or 4 cars parked there that not mark as handicap not sure if they were or were not because they didn't have tags or license plates weren't handicapped. I know you guys can't control other people from parking but that was the only thing that I didn't like because I had my mom which has trouble walking sometimes and we always had to park so far from the entrance

It’s always available when I need it. We need a room because of inclement weather and there are go to. Also, the location is great many restaurants around there it’s clean and the girl at the desk was super friendly.

The staff was very helpful. My reservation was canceled at 6 pm because I did not guarantee the room with a credit card when I booked it through your Booking.com site. It was only through the niceness of the manager that we were given a room at 10 pm. I assure you I will never use your site to book any future rooms.

Obviously your Booking Site process leaves much to be desired!

I am not sure if the management is the same, but the vibe was so different and more welcoming than the last time we stayed. It seems like protocols have def upgraded and it was nice to see staff from a year ago.
