What’s not to love about Abbey’s? Amazing location, quiet and serene woodsy scenery, yet only a couple minutes away from the fun and excitement of the casinos and Mystic Village! Makes you feel right at home from the moment you pull in. We stayed in the Mystic room and could not have fallen more in love. It felt like we were coming home for the holidays with the coziness and warmth of the property, the room and Erika and Peter of course! The jetted tub in the room set everything off and made it extra special. We were there for our “babymoon” and we have never felt so relaxed and peaceful. Breakfast each morning was amazing, the bed was comfortable and everything was CLEAN! It left us wanting for nothing and we will definitely be back!

- This is a place that offers a unique, memorable experience - because it's not a run of the mill accommodation - the room is thoughtfully decorated and furnished. -The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It's nice that you get to choose from a new menu every day. -The inn has well-kept grounds and is near a forest with paths you can walk. It's nice to be surrounded by nature. -It's nice to have a patio all to ourselves. - The way the inn is built, each guest has their little corner, so there is some privacy. - It's nice to have the jacuzzi in the spacious bedroom - It's really a place where you can relax - it's very quiet - yet a short drive to places to visit (Mystic, Rhode Island beaches, other attractions such as casinos and shopping, etc. - We slept very well there. - The inn keepers, Erika and Peter, are very discreet yet attentive.

- The room may be a little small, especially if it rains and you can't use the patio, although it is well furnished - with comfortable seats, eat-in bed trays, and foldable side tables. - There's no hot water kettle but asking for one, it was promptly delivered to our room. - Night driving is a little difficult if you're not used to the area - it's the downside of being in a nice, tranquil spot.

The Inn is located on a beautiful piece of property nestled in a peaceful slice of paradise .It is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature; yet , close enough to enjoy a variety of the activities offered in the surrounding areas. The room I stayed in was furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed, a great sitting area with plenty of lighting for reading . The room had a nice TV. The spacious bathroom had a jacuzzi , as well as a walk in shower ,the towels provided were plush and of a high quality and everything was very clean. My favorite spot quickly became the private deck with the lounge chairs and the table for sitting and enjoying the excellent breakfasts each morning. The deck overlooked the gorgeous grounds and was great for bird watching, reading a good book ,or taking a relaxing nap during the day. On a clear night the deck was a wonderful place to do some star gazing . The Inn's owner and host was attentive to details and very kind. The purpose of my visit this time was to relax and reset. Next time I am going to kidnap my husband and return for a romantic get away! This place is a gem!

The coffee but really in light of all the positives - that just didn't seem to matter that much and I am serious about my coffee -so that is saying something. A tea kettle was provided along with instant coffee packets which was fine, especially since there are a fair share of places to grab coffee close by,

The breakfasts were fresh, healthy, and delicious. Erika was such a great host. She made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our entire stay at the inn. The room was very clean. The property has a hiking trail in the back which we enjoyed!

The room was cozy, the sheets were soft and clean. The bathtub was nice, and the fireplace was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with a good assortment of options. The owners were more than pleasant and kind. It was 5 minutes from Foxwoods and about 15-20 from Mohegan. We were also a short drive from Mystic. Just far enough from each where it is still quiet and you don’t get the business and noise of the casinos.

This is an exceptionally well organized and equipped small inn. A lot of thought has gone into the rooms to make staying there easy and relaxing. Breakfast had lots of options and was well prepared. Hosts were friendly but not at all intrusive. Answered our questions about places to eat/go and every suggestion that we tried was spot-on!

We stayed in the Jetted Tub / Deluxe Balcony. We thought both the tub and the balcony were amazing features. We thought the bed was very comfortable and the complimentary homemade breakfast was delicious

Not sure there's much around the location besides a casino. However, we were mostly interested in staying on property and relaxing and for that, it was perfect.

Breakfasts were excellent, comfortable bedding, loved the spa tub and fireplace and large private patio (though the weather was a little chilly on our trip to fully enjoy it this time), hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful, but not at all intrusive, and fully respected privacy. I’m sure the grounds look amazing once everything is in full bloom. We loved it here and would definitely return.

Everything I love everything about this place! So comfortable! Very clean! Such a private place and so quite! Very close to Foxwoods yet still in a quite hidden area! Loved that the owners took time in saying hello and making sure we had everything and anything to make us even more comfortable! Delicious breakfast as well!

The Inn is in a beautiful location, just one mile from Foxwoods casino. The room was very clean and wonderfully decorated with such love. The Innkeepers were super nice and accommodating. The offered breakfast choices were amazing. The freshly baked almond and chocolate croissants were to die for. Definitely 100% recommended and we are looking forward to going back someday soon.
