Motel 6-Niantic, CT - New London

the room wasn't properly cleaned but I approached the man cleaning and he was happy to come and clean out the refrigerator and clean the floors again.

Right off the highway, located next to a couple of grocery stores, a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Gas Station, and many restaurants in delivery distance. Convenient location! Parking was definitely sufficient.

The room was priced very inexpensively, and yeah it did show. The accomodations were modest, but decent. I guess it would be better if there were more stairs to the second floor but that's a minor gripe to pad out the review to the minimum.

Quiet most nights. Ice machine worked. Saved a little meal $$ by having a microwave & a larger than normal fridge/freezer Plenty of hot water for showers. Room on the first floor was a relief for bad knee & hips.

A few questionable tenants. Bed was pretty firm

Easy on and off the interstate, but it was quiet, spacious, and there was easy parking. The hotel clerk was easy to work with and very nice. The room was large and the handicapped bathroom was great! They had a microwave and a small fridge. There were two bars of soap. A hairdryer was available at the front desk. The lighting was very good. The parking lot was well lit and the blackout curtain kept the outdoor light out. The handicapped parking was ample and there was an easy-to-use short ramp at the parking space. Because of COVID, there was no coffee nor breakfast but there was a Starbucks within walking distance for the able-bodied.

I would have liked an inch egg crate foam pad or something of that nature, but for the price, it was just fine.

This was our second time staying at this location. The rates were better than most for what we were looking for at the time. The room was clean and neat with basic supplies. Although everything appeared clean, we still wiped down the room ourselves to feel more comfortable.

I would like the room to have shades in addition to the curtains. The light from outside was quite bright that it was coming through a little. It would be helpful if there were alternatives to shield the light.

Convenient location. Clean and bright property, up-to-date, comfortable room. Very good value, and would not hesitate to stay again.

Only soap for toiletries. Room a little musty and/or getting some smells from smoking rooms below or nearby, maybe from ventilation system.

The room was big and comfortable. Shower was amazing. Bed was comfy too.

The floors were a mess. Whatever they cleaned it with was super greasy. Couldn’t walk around without socks. That’s my only complaint.

Great location to shops, restaurants and Mohegan Sun Casino

Hallways had a strange smell, room was good size and had fridge and microwave, but beds seemed dated and mattress was not too comfortable.

The staff was friendly when I arrived, they provided me with all my request and answered all my questions.

The towels could have been a little cleaner, and the mattress was a bit beat up.

it’s very local and very fun

definitely could make a pool room and could add hot tubs in the room even if it is just a motel to me it’s a home
